| I just saw both seasons of this show and loved it - the acting and writing are as good as anything on TV, and while a few of the story arcs were subpar, I could not stop watching. I can't believe Coach and his wife haven't been recognized with an Emmy, and Buddy Garrity is legendary. This show deserves more attention. I'm really glad it's coming back for a third season. |

+2 Internets | I tend to hate drama type shows like this, but for some reason this show really catches my attention. I caught the first three episodes of season 3 and it looks like the show is shaping up for another good season. It will be interesting to see if they'll try to add new cast to keep a fourth season a possibility or close it out this season as the majority of their cast would no longer be in high school. |

| I've been following this show since season 1, and really like it. Although I am a big American Football fan, thats not really what the show is about at it's core. If you've ever lived in a small town in Texas, this show is dead on in terms of the hero worship kids get for being football players. Anyway, been watching season 3 and I have overall liked it pretty well, but there are a few things about it that have really bothered me. Albeit, not enough to quit watching. I didn't like the way season 2 ended. It was kind of cut-off without any real denouement. One of the main story arcs in season 2 revolves around Smash Williams, and without spoiling anything, I kind of felt betrayed when I saw him show up in season 3. Also, the whole Jason Street subplot was completely dropped, etc. This will probably be it's final season. I don't think theres enough interest in the show for it's characters to change hands. That meaning, you can only play High School football for so many years.

+4 Internets | I seen episode 3 on direct tv and they showed the previews for next week and the Street storyline was not dropped. He will be on the next episode.

+4 Internets | This is the 2nd year its been like that. If it wasnt for Direct tv this show would have been canceled by now. From what i hear, direct tv is putting up alot of money to fund the show to keep going.

+20 Internets | Eh, I liked the episode myself. Can't wait to see how the 2 school situation plays out. Gives a new spin on the show instead of it just being about a powerhouse trying to win a state championship every season. |

| I enjoyed the first episode, although I agree the sad state of Dillon East seemed a bit overdone. Raccoons in the lockers? They've really turned the other QB into a huge dick like his dad suddenly, I thought he might be getting better. No mention of Kendra or lots of the old characters yet, I wonder if we'll see them or not. |
