+7 Internets | I'm sorry. In all fairness, it is your TV House, so you are allowed to talk about whatever you want. |

| I've watched both episodes... ::hangs head in shame:: I don't even know where to begin. I have to say Chuck "I wear so many layers of pastels it should be a crime" Bass may be my favorite character of the new television season. Apparently being wealthy allows you to actually rape girls at this point, without consequence. It's also enjoyable that his dad needs to reprimand him for drinking before noon at a Sunday brunch. Classic. This guy is my new idol. The whole Jenny/Dan scenario is actually a tad on the creepy side. These two seem a bit too "close" for just brother and sister. I feel the garage door in the bedroom is all that's separating these two from a midnight love session. And what's up with their 27 year old dad? I can't even take him seriously at this point. Finally, the Blair/Serena debacle. So I guess Serena was the queen bee before she slept with Blair's boyfriend and then skipped off to boarding school for 7 months. Reasonable I suppose, though lacking in creativity. I find the fact that Nate is obviously still in love with Serena after this incident that occurred 7 months ago (which may as well be 7 years in high school time) to be a bit reaching. Is he just dating Blair because he feels he has to? Does he really want nothing to do with her? Also, what's up with Dan becoming upset with Serena over something that happened 7 months ago WHEN THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW EACH OTHER. Hilarious. This show is nothing short of awful, but for some reason I'm locked in. I can't wait for next week. I also just noticed that Gossip Girl herself is Veronica Mars. I wonder if we get to see her at some point. |

+29 Internets | I'm embarrassed, but I'm watching it as well. It's mindless entertainment, which makes for a nice change from the 'cliffhanger' shows like Heroes. I don't quite have the names down yet. Serena's wanna-be boyfriend just pictured her as a perfect person, when she really has her flaws like everyone else. That's probably why he walked off - but you just know they'll be back together next episode. Guess we'll see how the show does after a few more episodes, when they've established some sort of a story. |

| It's on the CW network, and it's about the lives of wealthy, uber-privileged, uber-bitchy kids at an elite Manhattan prep school. I think it's based on a book series, too. "Gossip Girl" (2007) I should mention that the show is by Josh Schwartz, creator of "The OC." So if "The OC" wasn't your thing, this definitely won't be. It's basically a reboot of that show, but with different actors and actresses reprising the same roles. |

And Serena looks about 45. Not a "young" 45, at that. More like 45, going on 55.

Then again, I seem to recall it taking a few episodes before OC actually got interesting also.

+13 Internets | I watched the pilot but thought it felt really disjointed, and that it didn't click at all. As a huge Kristen Bell fan I'll probably keep watching, but I'm hoping they get some better directors and soon. |
