Well looking at the male contestants, they really lack a speed rusher outside MAYBE Wolf. I really think any balanced athlete stands a good chance against the males. Mayhem, and Crush are going to dominate the living shit out of the females, though.

Wrestling has been doing that for years. At least Battle Dome was an athletic competition rather than the traditional scripted drama.

What was the one Nickelodeon show that was kind of like American Gladiators, but at the end all the kids competed on a giant mountain called the "AgroCrag". They need to bring that back.

Looks pretty sweet. Checked out the website. The only thing that depresses me a little is that they are all the same games from the original show. They should have took the good ones like "assault" and "powerball" and mixed it up with some new ones.

They'll have to come up with new events eventually. I think this was put together quick by NBC due to the writer's strike and they didn't have time to put in new events.

Yeah looks like Earthquake and Hit and Run are the only new ones, and they're really just variations on old stuff.

That said, why the fuck do Power Ball again? That event sucked, and it was the event that injured the most competitors because the juiced up fuckhead gladiators used to get all overly aggressive and throw them around.
