Comedy Central's Roast of Flavor Flav

This was the funniest thing I've seen on television in a long while. Those who didn't kill made up for their shortcomings with energy and honesty. The jokes were a bit repetative (Did you hear Lisa Lampinelli fucks black men?!), but it didn't drag the roast down too much.

I thought Kimmel, Ross, Giraldo, and Sommore were the highlights of the show. Carrot Top would be way up there, but his props sucked some life out of the second part of his bit and he knew it. Ice T was great, along with Snoop, and Lisa Lampinelli was funny as usual. Patton Oswalt was 'meh', as was Brigitte Nielson, but I won't hold that against her.

And I thought Cat Williams ran that show like butter.

Other opinions?

I saw this last night as well. I must admit it is one of the better roasts I have seen in awhile.

Funny, I thought Giraldo was lousy and Oswalt was really good. Carrot Top and Lampinelli were good and of course Ice T and Snoop were funny. Brigitte Nielson isn't a comedian but her part was just painful to watch.

Agree this is the best roast I've seen in recent memory though. Flav is an easy target but it was still some really funny stuff.

BTW the best burn of the night IMO was Ice T's sex change comment on Carrot Top.

After watching those uncensored clips, I have to hand it to whomever edited the show -- they made some of those people seem much funnier than they really are. They cut every last semi-bomb from those bits for the televised version.

I think my favorite burn was Kimmel (I think) who made fun of Greg Giraldo by saying that it was another night he killed and will still lead to nothing.

I'm pissed Flava Flav even got a roast. The guy isn't a real fucking celebrity, it's somehow like 5 steps below the Pam Anderson one and she's nothing special either. Completely diminishes the Shattner and Hugh roast when you follow with this shit. I'm sure it was funny because the comedians are good, but fuck Flava Flav

Giraldo has serious balls in that clip going after Ice-T, dude is like a real gangster haha
