Drew Carey to take Bob Barker's Place

Drew Carey picked to come on down as new 'Price is Right' host - CNN.com

Drew's not looking so hot healthwise. Will be interesting to see him on the price is right, should do a good job of it. Wonder how much comedy he'll throw in there?

As long as he remembers to remind everyone to have their pets spayed or neutered!

A pretty good choice, in my opinion; I've always liked Drew Carey and he should make a fine MC for the show. Really, though, he is in an impossible position - filling in the footsteps of one of the most well known icons in American TV history. The only person I can think of in recent history in a tougher position was Leno taking the reins from Johnny Carson.

I guess I'm the only one that didn't think Drew fit with the show much at all. I don't mind Drew and his shows, just the last person I would have though to take Bob's place on the Price is Right.
