| I loved season 2, and I genuinely expected it to be horrible. And yeah, Karen can be a bitch at times, but sometimes if you put yourself in her position you can genuinely sympathize with her on a lot of the shit Hank puts her through. Though I still think the worst thing she's done is ditch Bill at the wedding. I mean goddamn, you let Hank throw himself at you and turn him down repeatedly, go through with the 5 or 6 digit wedding, then decide 'oh hey I actually wanna be with hank after all.' That shit's not cool for anyone. I hope they don't use the whole drama with Charlie/Marcie as a reason to have less Marcie in s3, just watching s2 over again and it just reminds me how fucking hilarious she is at times. +19 Internets | Hank very rarely puts Karen through any shit at all. He's never cheated on her (though as S1 points out, she cheated on him). He tags all kind of random strange, but he's always done it when they were separated. She, on the other hand, started shacking up with Bill (her employer) prior to leaving Hank. The whole show sets up Karen as the worse person out of the two. She's fickle and meanspirited, totally unable to stick to her decisions, and starts more fights than Hank. Does she disapprove of his lifestyle when they're apart? Of course, most people would. Does she have the right to judge him? Absolutely not, she's done worse. Think about the major plot element that drove them apart in season 2: the mistaken vagina bit at Ashby's first party. It was Karen who solicited Hank in a stranger's house at a time when his junk didn't work. The mistake coming out of the bathroom was totally innocent. Of course it would piss her off, but she used it as ammunition to leave Hank behind again knowing full well that it wasn't his fault. She's really just another of Hank's character flaws. He's unable to see how wrecked the woman is, in spite of having had numerous better ones come along. You can look at it as him ultimately being faithful and in love, but I don't think that's accurate. Hank falls in love with every girl he meets for the brief time that they're together, Karen is just the one he keeps coming back to. It's his safety blanket, but she's really an emotional crutch. |

+19 Internets | Yup, that's what ties him to her. I really hope that him offering to let Karen leave them behind is a way of distancing himself from Karen as much as letting Becca stay with her friends. He needs to let her go. She'll always be a part of his life, but with Karen not breathing down his neck and constantly telling him how much of a fuckup he is, maybe he'll start to grow again. Ashby was very clearly a good influence on Hank. He's the only male we've seen so far that was able to inspire his writing. He'll have to work to keep that up. |

| I honestly don't know if he will considering the pact/promise him and Ashby made to each other about their 'true loves'

| The Mouth Rape girl was insanely hot at the dinner party (no pun intended) that Hank and Karen had. They could have at least picked someone more attractive for hanks ex wife, i fail to see how someone who gets unlimited pussy would ever settle for her. |

| I think she's pretty attractive, funky cheeks though. And some people think there's more to a fulfilling relationship than the physical side of things.. *shrug*
