Haha just wait till its finished ( like 2009?). They changed the pace from bareable to fillers and carrot dangling á la dragonball around episode 120. Not short after that they lost the primetime spot they used to have and now its just another worthless anime drag over half a decade. I am pretty sure you could tell the whole naruto story with 6 movies like star wars, now imagine star wars having 300 episodes instead of 6 movies and you get the problem p

Well, Dragonball was different. You can't knock that shit, especially the original.

I also got really burnt on Naruto fillers, stopped watching the anime at that point, and Shippuuden is just taking too long, so I've given up on that as well. The manga is alright, but the last few issues have been really stupid (sasuke-deidre fight).

Current favorite is Bleach, not really interested in the anime since they are adding in needless fillers already (though the ep133 was kinda funny), so I just keep up on the manga, which is great.

Is there any posts with suggestions about new anime?

Been looking for new stuff, but I haven't found much. I am currently watching:
-Kekkaishi
-Bleach
-Naruto
-Claymore (well, I took a break from it after they derailed the storyline)
-Darker than Black (I gotta catch up to this)
-Death Note (Somebody spoiled the ending for me and I find it hard to watch now)
-One Piece (damn Kaizoku fansubs taking forever to release new subs, maybe I should switch fansubs?)

If it is old, then I probably already watched it, so that is why I am asking for new anime suggestions :P Or maybe good, less known anime?

Here are a few of my favorites:
Noein (Time/Dimmension traveling with original animations)
Samurai Champloo (animation style owns)
Escaflowne (I still listen to this soundtrack :P)
Paranoia Agent (Loved the intro haha)
NHK - Haruhi - (I liked the "wtf is going in" aspect of it... but the ending to stupid)
Gankutsuo
Gantz

dattebayo fansubs, LLC for all the Naruto/Bleach you need. He doesn't have the first 50 episodes for either Anime however.

Be warned. The guy who runs this place has a seemingly bad temper. He bans people for asking for old episodes, to host a certain anime, for asking where the newest one is, etc. Pretty much, if you don't ever talk, and just download you'll be fine.

Oh, and he seems to have some fetish with telling people he's pulling Naruto off the site, only if (insert name of shitty anime he's hosting, usually Pokemon) reaches (insert retardedly high number of downloads here) in the next (insert miniscule unreachable timeframe here), only to go YHBT (a very gay abbreviation for You Have Been Trolled), and say he was kidding.

If i remember correctly the people who were doing naruto at anbudom went to dattebayo, hence the namechange, and why they aren't hosted there. For Bleach lunar anime has the first however many episodes that DB doesn't have.

How did they derail the storyline? It's basically scene for scene with the Manga.

Right now I'm really only interested in shit that's finished. I mean I remember when Bleach first came out I heard it was 60-65 episodes. now its over 130? jesus. When a show gets popular do they just decide to milk it and add as much later plot as possible?

Right now the stuff on my pc i actually plan on watching is Death Note, Eureka Seven and Ergo Proxy. TBH I haven't seen shit since Berserk or RahXephon I gave a shit about to keep me interested in anime.

Perrito, go from ADC-Fansubs to Vega-Punk fansubs on the One Piece. ADC is disbanded, but their fansubs are still up (check Tokyotosho). You'll never catch up with the episodes if you stick with slow pokes Kaizoku.

Although short, I enjoyed Basilisk. I think it was 25 or so episodes. Check that one out if you haven't.

There's a reason for dragging on the episodes in Shippuden. It's the same reason they had to have so many filler episodes before.

The anime can NOT get ahead of the manga. If that happens, you get a shit-tastic anime like Rurouni Kenshin, because the animators begin making stuff up and ruining the story. Since the anime is 23 minutes long and animated, it obviously covers more content every week than an 18-page manga.

But I don't even really care if things are a little drawn out. Taking weeks off is kind of gay, but I don't care if they stretch episodes a bit. The Sakura/Chiyo/Sasori fight is coming up and it's going to be fucking epic. I have been waiting to see that fight animated for like a year.

As far as the current manga fight goes: [ Deidara dies in this week's chapter, so it's over. The raw is out but no one has scanlated it yet because it's chinese... or something. It looks like Sasuke went with him in his suicide bomb, but obviously Sasuke isn't going to die at this point in the series, so who knows how he is going to get saved. ]

As far as Narutofan.com:
Quote:
You want to avoid Narutofan like the plague because they take free subs and make people pay for them. It's blatant rip off and it reminds me of assholes who sell subs on ebay.
They don't charge for the subs, they charge for the ability to direct-download them. I don't care that I'm paying like $3/month for 5gigs of downloads. It's a hell of a lot faster than torrent sites (which Narutofan links to, if you don't want to pay) and all of their manga downloads are free. That's a shitload of bandwidth just for the manga. They have to pay for shit somehow.

Oh yeah this was good dumb action anime when I watched it, like Ninja Scroll. really enjoyed it, at the time finding the subtitled versions were nearly impossible so I stopped around 14 (basically when it really picked up). I need to finish this show, man they showed a lot of skin on the women too haha

I need to find Death Note. At this point, I wouldn't mind buying the subs or something because I only got to episode 12 and it was good. :[

Death Note was one of those animes where I wouldn't mind if they went off of the storyline of the manga. The manga and anime was so good up until the part that most people didn't want to happen so soon. Then it was downhill from there.

Claymore has dethroned Berserk as my favorite manga, and if they follow the manga it will most likely dethrone GunGrave as my favorite anime. I hope they just take long breaks in the anime so they don't have to make fillers and gay up the canon. I have a feeling they will make fillers though because the massive amounts of time skips.
