+13 Internets | K-Ville YACS, but might be interesting to see how they portey NO post katrina. first episode wasn't too special with the crime being one we've seen many times before rehashed. |

| Romo is a manwhore | I'm not impressed with the show based upon the pilot. It could get better but it's Fox and they seem to prefer style over substance. Spoiler Alert, click show to read: This one is not in my DVR and won't ever be. I just don't see it going anywhere. |

| I wasn't teribbly impressed with the first episode. I liked it well enough to give it a second chance, but it wasn't as good as I had hoped. My first problem is that Cole Hauser is not the main character. He is a much better actor than Anthony Anderson ever will be. This may change over the course of the season, but the plot centered around Anthony Anderson was not compelling, in my opinion. Another problem was how much ground they covered in the first episode. If they keep covering material that fast, they will be scouring for new ideas by the end of season 2. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, so I will be as general as possible... we see the issue with Anthony Anderson's (can't remember his character name) previous partner which could have been an entire episode all by itself. We see a very brief glimpse into Cole Hauser's past and that he is not really all he appears to be (also could have been an episode all to itself). A close loved one of Anderson gets killed (could have gone into more detail of who she was). The neighbors threaten to leave town because they give up hope and within one episode they are back and everything is great and dandy. Anyways, the good part of the show is the cinematography is pretty good and really shows New Orleans in a gritty light. I believe it is fairly accurate in showing how things are there right now. Just my $0.02 |

| It looked like another pilot that shouldn't have made it to primetime tv. This show looked like a joke and from these reviews it looks like it will get pulled/canceled. *clap* now wheres my Hells Kitchen thread! |

The show felt like a direct to Fox Bad Boys VI. The pacing was horrible, the editing was horrible, and the acting left much to be desired. I agree that they moved way too much plot in the pilot. Him being from NO and doing his training in Leesville (how is that going to make any sense to people not from down here) could have been way drawn out. Anyways, easily cancelled I'd say. I had hope, but was not impressed at all. | |
