I havnt seen much talk about the show since last season. I just got done watching season 6 on dvd (my own burned copy) and thought it was really good.

Spoilers: I hope they dont find some way of reversing the death of Lana. The character has played out her part in the smallville universe I think, it seems lately they have to keep inventing issues revolving around her just too keep her in the script. With Chloe's meteor power revealing itself though I can see their way of bringing her back if they want too

Another good thing that comes from Lana's death is Clark will finally have a reason to truly hate Lex. Hopefully this will make him less emo about blowing shit up with Oliver.

I think the series is nearing completion now. Once he takes care of bizarro and wraps up some lose ends he is going to have to seriously consider returning to the fortress to finish this and become Superman.

Anyway... anyone else still watch this regularly?

Lana isn't dead. The truck pulled in front of her just when the explosion went off. She did that to escape lex but make sure lionel didn't kill clark.

Spoiler:Then again I swear if you watch the scene again when you see the car on fire you see what looks like a burning body fall forward in the car. Id have to watch it again to confirm but I could swear you can see her.. or at least someone in the car after the explosion.

is this show any good? I only saw the premier + a few eps and I was like "meh". It gave me a Buffy/Angel vibe except... worse... I dunno. Does it get better or is it something I wouldn't like if I didn't like the first few episodes?

If you can get past the Clark whining over Lana parts - then yeah it's not bad. Season 6 had shitons of mytho-shit go down, which was why it was so good.

Spoiler: It's pretty blatantly obvious that Lana isn't dead. I mean for fucks sake, that was soap opera quality bad with the truck rolling by just as the car explodes and NOT FUCKING STOPPING.

All they need to do is make the next season 22 straight episodes of Chloe and Lana making out and I'd be sold.

I'm only 3 eps into the most recent season (is that 6?) It looks like its going to be a good season + my brother told me it was a great season, so I'm looking forward to getting through it.

It is the one and only teen-themed show I can bear to watch.

and yeah... Chloe got hot, but I'm still a Lana man, even if her character has become annoying as fuck.

I haven't watched this since season 4, but I always really liked their choice of actor for Lex Luthor. He's very good at the part.
