new Star Wars TV show

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Star Wars: Video

Trailer looks kinda nifty. I wiki'ed it for some more information and they mentioned Boba Fett might be in it (you see him in the trailer)... which is, uhh, odd considering the time line and all.... :|

Oh well, it's a year off still.

Looks good to me. I'm not a fan of CGI, but it looks like the acting/directing/script may be better than the last 3 movies.

That looks like Jango, not Boba.

Depends when the series is set. Boba is a little too young to fit into daddies armor until after wars I would think. Never know I guess, Lucas could have had Boba age faster than normal due to his midechlorians!!!!111

This is basically covering the same timeframe as the Cartoon Network series did?

Basically, yeah.

I thought it was odd too but *shrug*... that cartoon was decent too.

Wow looks really bad ass, I like the style the characters are in.

Video feels like they did a lot of the action with like a video game engine. The battle scenes look just like the movies.

As much as I still feel burnt by the whole Episode 1 2 and 3 suckage, I am geeking out over this. Previews look spot on, hopefully Lucas will let this timeframe be truely dark, like the 2 and 3 should have been. Either way, I will be watching this series, any ideas one which network will be showing this?

I enjoyed the previous cartoon and like the somewhat darker/more realistic look of this one. Will definitely check it out.

On a side note, did anyone check out the Star Wars History Channel Special?

I won't give Lucas anymore of my money. 1,2 and 3 were horrible. Won't watch.

Watched the Star Wars Tech (was pretty cool to see what Star Wars Tech is reflected in today's modern world and what could be on the horizon, along with the things that could probably never happen) and Tivo'd the special. I caught bits and pieces of it (it was on, but I didnt really have the time to watch it in its entirety). What I saw of it was pretty interesting.

That bald chick with the double-sided lightsaber was in the cartoon series. Hopefully they include the Grievous vs. 5 Jedi fight too.

The dude in the trailer is a Clone Trooper, maybe an ARC trooper, hence why there are tons of them...

Does look like there is a mini-death star though.
