I love the little moment of absolute despair Rossiu had in 21 where he just realized that every decision he'd made had been wrong, and that he'd (seeming) doomed the human race to extinction...

...and then the Dai-Gurren-Dan showed up and exploded about half the anti-spiral fleet with one shot from Gurren-Lagann.

looked this up on wikipedia and found out there's a timeskip, will definetly check this out. I love animes with timeskips.

Yeah, since the later episodes this show's turned out to be the best series since Ergo Proxy for me. Truly awesome.

Hopefully Takami Akai (the fat dude in Otaku No Video) will be reinstated into Gainax at the end of the season as a kind of vindication. Kinda weird that he had to resign for a flaming a 2chan troll. If only because reading 2chan really IS "like putting [his] face next to an anus and breathing deeply". I suppose it's better than being in prison for tax fraud though.

Tokyotosho should have all the subs, but I think it's down/very laggy at the moment. There's also a combined 1-15 (or so) bundle around somewhere, iirc.
