| As long as any show isn't licensed in your country, downloading it is 100% legit. Most companies aren't real anal about the fansubbing either since the majority of the community + industry stick to the unwritten rules anyways. Extremely long or continuous series have some lenient exceptions simply because the licensed releases lag months or even years behind. Bleach and Inuyasha are the biggest examples for this. Viz Media releases Bleach Vol. 8 on Jan 15, 2008 and should have episodes 29-32. That's way freakin' behind the episode 145 it's currently at.

+17 Internets | Even with the licensed stuff the US companies only send C&Ds to websites that are subbing it or hosting it within the US and some other places where they may have reach. They never go after torrenters like the RIAA does, they actually have half a brain and know anything past the above mentioned C&Ds isn't worth their time.

| Just finished the series (I just got home this week) and I'm really impressed with the finish; though they've been telegraphing a bittersweet conclusion throughout. And the japs get shit like this for saturday morning cartoons... |
