Dirty Jobs

I can't get enough of this show. It's by far one of my favorites on the Discovery Type Channels(NGC, Science Channel, TLC, etc).

My favorite so far is when he's down in the sewers of SF and in some parts it's literally raining cockroaches. I think my second favorite is when they are at the monkey refuge. Good stuff.

The monkey refugee is great. But, the best is when he's helping that guy in the Louisiana swamps pulling this dudes boat, and the guy hates him.

Man, this latest episode has to be the worst Ive seen on this show. They are docking and castrating lambs.

To castrate them, they cut the scrotum open with a knife, stick your fingers in and under the balls, pull them out a little, then PULL the balls off with their TEETH! Fuck!

I have watched pretty much all episodes of Dirty job.. the show owns! Best episodes are when he breaks whatever tools he is given to do his job... or when he has to crawl into tiny/disgusting places.

god it was so damn disgusting. I couldn't imagine having my scrotum sliced open, someone reaching in, pulling out my balls, biting down on them and just ripping them out. I thought they were kidding when the guy told Mike that they used their teeth to pull off their balls.

Watching it in 1080i on my 42" made me squirm but I couldn't turn it off.

I liked the episode where he meets the mohawked exterminator because a church had a cockroach problem...

Or seeing him crawl into a cement mixer/truck and the guy saying "Im glad i dont have more people like you, id actually be losing money" and then watching him get stuck trying to get back out

love Dirty Jobs although some of the newer ones seem like hes ran out of new dirty jobs and is going back over old ones.

He was talking about this on Adam Carolla's show a few weeks back. Apparently animal rights people complain it is cruel and mean and want them to use the rubber band method. Mike Rowe said he saw one they were doing it on and it was just miserable. Wouldn't move, just laid and whined in pain for a couple days until the sack was dead. But when they do the "cruel" method the animals are back up within the hour and acting like nothing happened.

He sounded pretty disgusted with the animal rights people. Really interesting guy. And he's not just talking shit when he goes on about his respect for the working man and all that. He genuinely believes these are the most important people in the country and the reason we're falling apart is lack of more skilled laborers coming up. Was a very interesting interview.

My favorite episode was when he was helping put together a large billboard. I was not dirty but he had the best one-liners I have ever heard. Me and my roomate were crying. Now we officially never miss the show.

When he works at any type of animal farm is pretty good entertainment.
