The series changed and added many things that are not in the books some plots I thought were ok but some were just stupid.

My wife started reading the books after I had finished the first few and she loves them. She watched last weeks episode (her first) but has no interest in watching any of them and will stick with the books. Be warned, if you start reading the books you may start to dislike the show.

Looking back I thought the first half dozen episodes were great fun but the show seemed to go down hill pretty fast I found the final episode to be the worst.
