Wrestling (WWE)

Is anyone else a fan of WWE? As fake as it is, I can't help but watching every Monday. . .

I haven't gotten as bad yet that I shell out 40$ 6 times a month or whatever insane number of PPV's it is, but I will stay up a little later then normal to check the website for results. . .

I don't know why I find it so good but the drama it puts out is good, and they really make you hate the bad guys. .

I used to watch Smackdown! all the time but the wrestlers on it now are a bunch of nobodys and it sucks ass. TNA is pretty good but Raw is still my favorite.

Yea Smackdown is so so, the only reason I had to watch it was Rey Mysterio and he's gone. . .

Now raw is number one.

I usually end up watching it when nothing else is on and keeping up on the storylines online. Its good for summer when you're getting nothing but repeats on the other channels.

I got sick of their over telling of stories, retarded storylines, shitty wrestling STYLE (not shitty performers), and shortened matches. The biggest problem is that they have good wrestliers, but their style is just so fucked up and about 80% of their talent is completely misused and under utilized.

If you want to see good wrestling, download/buy Ring of Honor shows. If you live in the northeast area, they run most of their shows out of boston, ct, philly, NYC, NJ. They also run shows in chicago, minnesota, and detroit. Really great promotion with top notch talent and the fact that Gabe just lets the fans decide alot of things via their reactions.

its unbelievable how terrible the product has become. the wrestling is boring, the characters are lame, the storylines are predictable. really makes you look back and reminisce about the good ol days of stone cold and the rock. at least the rock is on to better things now... for a performer as talented as he is, it would be disappointing to see him stuck fighting the likes of chris masters and umanga. btw, am i the only one who realizes that umanga is the same guy who was jamal in 3 minute warning? do they think we're that dumb? are we that dumb?

Fuck that action, it's all about the Ultimate Warrior, Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, that cop dude with the billy club, Jake the Snake Roberts, Ravishing Rick Rude, Cocoa Beware, and so on...

That's like saying I liked the good old days of rock with Whitesnake, Bon Jovi, and Poison.

This is truth.

Though I imagine I agree with this because I was a little kid back then and after about the age of 13, I couldn't watch wrestling in any serious capacity.

Oh yeah, same here.

Although I did go see a live match when I was about 17 or 18, and it was actually well worth the price of admission. They do seriously put on a good show, and Stone Cold was feeding some dude shots about 3 feet from me.
