Tyrion, wolves, and where the fuck are they gonna find a bunch of muscle bound 7 foot+ guys who can act? Hodor, Gregor Clegane, Left and Right. There's some big motherfuckers in these books=P Not that they really have to be that tall, just big motherfuckers should suffice. And Left and Right don't have to do anything but be big I guess, hire a couple guys from Strongest Man competitions for them=)

There's so many ways they can go wrong with this, but I'm keeping my hopes up.

The only thing that sucks, is what happens when the show catches up with the books? Put the show on haitus for 7 years and finish when he finishes the books?

Well since it won't be airing/starting for a few years, and HBO takes about a fucking year or more between seasons of shows, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If the books actually finish in 2011 the show will probably only be up to like Storm of Swords, maybe Feast at the most..

Is Rome being cancelled? Sopranos went on too long and after watching season 3 of Deadwood, they were right to pull it. I am just wondering where the idea that HBO can't get decent funding comes from.

The first thing I thought of when I heard they were making Goodkind's trash into a mini-series was "I wish they would make ASOIAF into one and put it on HBO." This is like a fucking dream come true. A whole season for each book is better than I was even hoping for.

Rome is canceled after the next 9 episodes. Deadwood was canceled due to the creator not being able to get the funding he needed for a fourth season and he pulled out(though they are still supposedly making two follow up "movies"). I'm not saying it's a sure thing. Just that I won't be surprised when if it happens to this. Seeing as we probably won't see the first season of this for quite a bit, I'm not too worried about it for now. Like someone said above, even if we only get one or two seasons, I'll be happy if they do it right.
