SPOILER SEASON 2 **** She should've died. Rose, Mickey, and the mom trapped in the parallel world just seems...lame, I dunno. That and...okay, the portal sucked all the Dahleks and Cybermen in because of the residual energy. Fine. What about the Cybermen that were made on Earth after they invaded? There weren't many, sure, but there were a few! At least the black Dahlek escaped. I will say that the fact that the Cybermen and Dahleks were NOT working together, talked madshit at each other, and then tried to kill each other made it awesome. Anyways, I agree, Girl in the Fireplace rocked. Apparently, David Tennant is dating her in real life.. Last edited by Bizanich : 07-12-2006 at 10:49 PM.

+53 Internets | Yeah, girl in the fireplace made my vagina swell with pride. The one with satan was crazy awesome too, though it's the third time the doctor has encounters someone who he called an incarnation of satan. =p Spoiler stuff. The war in the final episode should have been longer and I had the same thought you did about the vortex. Then again, they might have escaped and will be back in a new episode some time. They could also have been killed by the Dalek's. I fastforwarded through the last parts with rose though. Never liked her from the start. Just annoying from the ground up. And I would have flown over to London and encaved some skulls if the Doctor had said he loved her. The Doctor is above that! What made me really giddy though was the claim that it was the Dr.'s fault the Time Lords were all destroyed. Hopefully they explore more into that next season. We need the Master to make an appearance next season. <3 <3 |

| Anyone else catch the Runaway Bride? I thought it was atleast better than last year's X-mas special. There was a preview of the upcoming season and it showed Freema Agyeman, who is going to play Martha, the Dr's new companion. I've been watching Torchwood while waiting for Dr Who to start back up, and its worth checking out if you liked Captain Jack. |

| I've been watching Torchwood and I just watched the xmas special. It's all very corny stuff, but I like it anyways. Only problem is that I miss words/phrases here and there. Sometimes I have no clue what they're saying and I feel like I'm missing some of the jokes. Interestingly enough we were discussing visiting places in history in the history channel thread. They went to a period of time I'd love to go see: The doctor takes the bride back to the creation of the solar system. That'd be neat and stuff... Last edited by Kolle : 01-02-2007 at 02:38 AM. |

+2 Internets | I've been watching the latest season of Doctor Who via leeching from the Net, and the recent season I felt has been pretty lackluster ('cept for Martha, who's hot, except for that tattoo..ugh). Lastnight, we viewed in high def "Blink" and the one after that, I think it was "Utopia". Blink was awesome. I know it's a family show in England, but I can't imagine how a little kid wouldn't have been terrified by the weeping angels in the show. Apparently the same guy who wrote Blink also did the World War Two episodes from Season One (I have no verification of this), but whoever it was did well. Utopia was okay, I thought, good because Captain Jack reappeared and it was explained why the Doctor ditched him so readily. Good stuff ![]() |

....but Blink was just a fantastic episode. The only question I had was why the one Angel had the key in its hand (I'll have to rewatch it), but otherwise, it outshone Utopia. Maybe it hurt that I watched them back to back. P.S. Vote for Saxon.

| Yeah, I loved the way they leaked that in all season. Mister Saxon = Master No. Six They're still playing games with anagrams it seems. And I do agree to a point, they could've done a lot more with the "Futurekind". Instead they kinda summed it up by saying "All the great human empires are long gone", never to return presumably. But the return of Cpt. Jack and Derek Jacobi as The Master for an ep, you just can't go wrong. |

+2 Internets | So far it's leading up to be an awesome end to the season. Though, I wish they'd get rid of Martha. I find her annoying. Rose may have been a bit annoying, but not quite as much. :| Blink was awesome, and so was Utopia. I litterly freaked when Yana found that he was the Master. :O Latest episode isn't as exciting, but quite awesome. The Master still doesn't fuck around. ![]()
