Just so I can not read spoilers, are we all talking about the BBC airing of the show and its story so far, or the USA airings?

The last I have seen was "Utopia" "The Sound of Drums" "Last of the Time Lords", which was the season 3 finale. I also have the Voyage of the Damned special, but haven't watched it.

Have the season 4 eps ran in the US yet? On sci fi, or are you getting them from BBC America?

They're up to Episode 9 or 10 iirc on Sci-Fi USA in Season 4. So yeah, avoid the spoilers. And watch Voyage of the Damned ffs! I didn't understand why the reviews trashed Kylie Minogue. I thought she was fantastic. I still don't get the connection with her name though, must've been a red-herring. Astrid = Tardis.

On BBC1 they're at the very final episode of the series followed by the July Promos, Children in Need, and The X-mas special to finish out 08.

Season 5 will be 4 movies, and the full series will return in 2010 with Moffat at the helm (yay).


Edit: Here's a preview of "Journey's End" for folks who missed it. I'll stick it under spoilers for Zeste's sake. If you saw the latest ep there's no spoilers in it other than "What is the bad-guys plan?". It's a great preview. "He" aint fucking around no more.

This last episode was such a curveball in many ways, but I do have a few theories and thoughts. Last ones you'll have to suffer through until X-mas

The most faithful companion will die, lost forever = TARDIS, think about it...okay maybe not but that would be weird.

I'm still going with Donna (Rani) though. She's been showing off that ring an awful lot, and she had a "Master" moment on the stairs. Just as the Masters "Professor", and The Doctor's "John Smith", Donna's personality will be gone forever.

A) Donna turning into the Rani, a Time-Lord version of Joseph Mengela, would be the darkest, sadest twist of the series as well imo. Especially if she takes someone with her.

B) Or even worse, she dies as a human and after all is said and done it turns out to be an unsavable Romana. Or the Doctor's wife. Either way it would kill the Rose+Doctor relationship I think.

More evidence: In Turn Left, Rose told Donna there's something strange about her "readings", not the Time-Beetle but ever since she was born. The Shadow-Aide told her I'm sorry for your loss, as if the loss would be incredibly meaningful (Can't mean the Doctor). This perfectly blends into the above Rani stuff imo.

Someone transported into Wilf and Silvias living room *after* Rose left.

Mickey and "Pete's Torchwood" will gate in and save Torchwood and Sarah-Jane.

Harriet Jones was never actually killed on screen. But seriously, awesome fucking death either way. Dalek's saying, "Yes! We know who you are!"

Dalek Caan is the coolest Dalek in over 30 years. Abomination? Almost sounds like a Dalek "Bad Wolf".

The Osterhagen (anagram for "Earth's Lost") key. Keys open Locks. Only one lock has been mentioned...a time-lock. Other than that, no idea. If so, the Time-War will revert to the final battle and the Shadow Proclamation and Humanity will defeat the Daleks with the aid of the Time-Lords

Spies saw a scene where the Doctor is talking with Wilf and Doctor is like "she can never know the truth" and Wilf goes "we will take care of her". Then Doctor leaves alone. She can never know the truth makes me think that there could be something to the Donna = Timelord or Rani idea. Maybe the Doctor discovers she has a watch.

Interesting Cyb. Things are adding up that she's not the Rani (would be too cruel), but I'm still mindlessly holding onto that theory See the very bottom for a new hint from the last episode. I mean a *huge* easter egg.

The only reason I can think of the Doctor saying that, is if Donna does the same thing the Doctor did. She burns/destroys the Earth and the Daleks, but something resets it, maybe the Key. The Doctor has had to live with it, and wouldn't want another to do the same.

If she's a Time-Lady (Rani) the only way the Doctor would do that is if Gallifrey doesn't return. He would either keep the Rani on the Tardis or turn her over. Time-Lords are incredibly contemptful (even the Doctor to a degree, "stupid apes") of lesser species. I can't think of any circumstance where he'd leave the Rani on Earth, even if he held her Chameleon Arch

I'm still confused that they didn't explain what happened between Turn Left and The Stolen Earth. The TARDIS looked pretty fucked up. Almost like a Paradox Machine. Some of the rumors around the web claim that it was the TARDIS itself using it's chameleon circuit (but that's borked?). Anyways, not a big deal.


Oh, and one last major thing...about the Bee's

The Bee's are from Miasimia Goria. (Doctor says the bees are from My-isma-maj-oria). Close enough in my book. The same planet the Rani enslaved as her "Test Subject" world in her very first episode.

The earth will be destroyed, only Captain Jack and The Doctor will survive by stowing away on a passing Sontaran Ship, with nothing but a towel to their names.

Later the Bees will set up an intergalatic 'Save the Humans' fund which will lead the Earth being restored as if nothing had ever happened. All they will leave behind is the simple message... 'So long and thanks for taking all of our fucking honey'.

I believe the Time Lords aren't dead. I mean fuck, they're a clever species and they can travel through time and space.

I mean, couldn't they create another demension (like the inside of the TARDIS) to live in? Maybe that's why they left the Doctor? Maybe they need someone to bring them back from that demension?

Just some food for thought.

I mean, if the fucking Daleks can survive, I'm sure they can as well.

That's what I was saying from Day 1 personally. I mean how the fuck do the Daleks defeat the most God-like race in existence? Never made any sense. But apparantly they did....
