So a little late on posting this, but did anyone catch the Doctor's scar from "The Doctor's Daughter" ??

It's the same scar as the one on the little boy in "The Empty Child" ...interesting... could it be that the capsule that landed on earth was a type of Progination Machine? Will we see more of this later on?

As far as River Song being Jack, I'm going with no. It's a stretch, but what if Rose is a Time Lord as well? No human could hold the Heart of the Tardis, yet she did. She's going to do a deminsion travel that is impossible unless the rift is open. So maybe she dies and regens into River Song? Like I said it's a stretch.

Nah, Rose is no time lord. She only held on to the heart of the tardis for like a minute, before the Doctor takes over.

I do think she's immortal, though. Mainly because her wish was that her, the doctor, and Jack would travel together forever. And supposedly, the Tardis can make things like that a reality. It's likely that Rose, Jack, and the Doctor are immortal (in the Doctor's case, infinite regenerations).

^Nice catch. Both are Moffat episodes too. Hrmmmm.

Bad Wolf is definitely not over imo. There was a picture of a blonde woman and a wolf with CAL in the Matrix during the last episode. And besides that---it just doesn't *feel* finished, does it?

And I've always thought that what she did was the pure definition of Omnipresent. She existed in every second of time from beginning to end when she took hold of that power. When she said "I bring life." it rezzed Jack at every point in his existence/time line. It's extra-weird that she claimed she was ending the Time War by destroying the Emperor. Or maybe she was just setting the end in motion? Time will tell I guess. It certainly seems from the previews that...

Major spoiler
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Davros has destroyed most of her Universe, and is now heading to this one to gobble it up. And it's been going on a while. The Gelth said "The Darkness is coming", so did the Utopians (although they might have meant heat death), and now Rose says it in the preview for Turn Left. Moreover, the Time-War definitely seems to have taken place in more than one Universe. The Doctor said travelling between Universes happened often. But in the old series, it really didn't. Romana was the only one to ever do it when she went to E-Space. Which was another dimension iirc, not a Universe.

I'm as confused as anyone though. One part of me thinks it's more than a coincedence the Doctor is very limited in this new series of where/when he can travel. And he's spent more time on Earth than in the first 30 years of the series. The Time Lords despise humanity (except for the Doctor), and it would be the ultimate irony they were all forced to become Humans on Earth.

Another part of me says the Time Lords said "fuck it" to the entire Universe when their back was to the wall, and they destroyed 2/3rds of the Universe to defeat the Daleks. The Doctor infuriated by this, fought the final battle by travelling to a point earlier in the war during the Master Restitution (which we still don't know much about) and destroyed both races. Any change causes that to be negated, so he setup the Shadow Proclamation.

And the rest of me has a theory so crazy it dare not be repeated here!

Again, we'll see. Davies wont leave too many loose ends I hope. The "Last Great Time-War" is his story, and he really should finish it. I expect though that the 4 movies in 2009 will directly relate to this finale, and finish it up. Maybe even hire Eccleston and McGann to be in a Time-War movie. That'd be awesome.

Whoa....finally we know the name of Episode 12...Major freaking spoiler ahead

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The Stolen Earth

The Doctor's secret army of allies come together at a time of great urgency as Earth is threatened by the new Dalek Empire. With battles raging on the streets and in the sky, the Doctor and Donna confront the Shadow Proclamation to find the truth; however, a fearsome old enemy waits in the shadows.

End of official text.....

I'm really starting to buy into my own BS. I really think it's the Time Lords in hiding. Either that or it's just a fancy way of saying: Jack, Mickey, Rose, her parents, etc.. But why "secret" if that's the case?

^ I saw Judoon too. Everything's gone ape-shit, also in the preview..

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Sarah, Martha, kids from Sarah Jane, Jack, Ianto, Gwen, Red Dalek(wtf?). Fleet of Dalek ships, Fleet of unknown ships, big fucking Dalek saucer but in the background are multiple planets. Looks kind of like the moon and another planet, but they don't look like Skaro and Gallifrey. Awesome preview.

It's one of those episodes I definitely need to watch again. My only complaint is that we don't know who The Trickster/Fortuneteller was (Next ep?). She certainly had to be an agent for this "Darkness". It almost seems to be the first battle in a New Time War. So much more awesomeness to come.

And the last five minutes will make you shit.

If a tenth of what is rumoured to be in this is there, this is going to be AWESOME.

It gives me a lot of questions.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

1. How the fuck does Rose travel across universes?

2. How the fuck did she change everything to "Bad Wolf" again without the power of the Tardis? Or did she do it when she did have the power originally (being able to see the whole of creation, etc).

3. How the hell does she know what the Doctor has been up to all this time? It's almost like she's become a sort of Human version of the Doctor herself. Kind of weird, they should give her a spin-off.

4. Was Donna getting hit by that truck her death, or is it still coming?

5. Does the Tardis die if the Doctor dies? If so, why?

Thats all for now, but I loved it.

I just noticed but Donna has grown on me a lot. She's like some kind of strange guidence for the Doctor. Like, an example of how good and wise humans can be, even if she is a bit bitchy sometimes. XD

Same way Mickey, Pete, et al did. Mickey told Rose in Doomsday that the Doctor is frequently wrong. In this other Universe Torchwood is lightyears ahead of ours. And with all the Universes dying, I don't think they're worried about the Swiss Cheesing of Time-Space. But yes, Rose was extremely Time-Lady'ish in this episode. Not at all the Old Rose.

2. How the fuck did she change everything to "Bad Wolf" again without the power of the Tardis? Or did she do it when she did have the power originally (being able to see the whole of creation, etc).

The Bad Wolf is Omnipresent. This is why Jack can't die. She didn't just rez him at that moment, but for *all* moments. That's why I was convinced above (as were others) Bad Wolf was not over. I also have a personal suspicion that Rose is not the Bad Wolf. The Bad Wolf is the Power of Creation/Laws of Time, using Rose as an Avatar. Listen to her dialogue in that ep again I've always thought there's more to it.

3. How the hell does she know what the Doctor has been up to all this time? It's almost like she's become a sort of Human version of the Doctor herself. Kind of weird, they should give her a spin-off.

"Pete's Universe" is about 1 year ahead of ours. Pete's Universe also has a Doctor, and he might just be a bad guy (Valeyard). When Pete and the Doctor meet for a 2nd time in Doomsday, Pete says "We know who you are now." And Pete seems scared of him.

4. Was Donna getting hit by that truck her death, or is it still coming?

That was the alternate Donna (Causality). By dying she created the 3rd Universe in which she was a distraction for the Present Donna. But yeah, she had to die. But it could've been a meta-exposition, ie: she still might also die in the present (next 2 eps). To make it simple kinda:

Our Donna from Runaway Bride: Always turned Left and ignored her mother
Alternate Donna: Was going to turn left but turned right.
Present Donna: Turned left, then right, then after a horrible accident which backed up traffic was forced to go Left (Ever read Incarnations of Immortality? Same thing. No really, exact same thing.)

Present Donna and Runaway Bride Donna have the exact same life except for the event/reason they turned left. So it's the same Donna, but that one moment is different.

5. Does the Tardis die if the Doctor dies? If so, why?

It's never been fully explained. There are many generations of TARDIS. The Doctor's is a Type 40 (iirc). His TARDIS seems to be more symbiotic than other Time Lord TARDIS. He however does not die if his TARDIS dies. But without him the TARDIS has no purpose. This is contradicted in The Deadly Assassin, so who knows.

Thats all for now, but I loved it.

I just noticed but Donna has grown on me a lot. She's like some kind of strange guidence for the Doctor. Like, an example of how good and wise humans can be, even if she is a bit bitchy sometimes. XD
Added the answers in your spoilers section. Just my 2cp. Would love to read other thoughts.

And here's the new BBC1 trailer for next week, interesting:
