+14 Internets | Stargate SG1 & Atlantis Last season, Canadian TV aired Atlantis a few weeks earlier than the US - I think they didn't take a mid-season break. Does anyone know if they plan to do the same this year? Possibly do it with SG-1 as well? Watching the two shows out of sync was odd at times, but I just can't bring myself to wait longer than I have to ![]() I think the next season is due to start in the first week of July? |

+3 Internets | Good to see Atlantis back on the air via Canada, and I almost think its good to have it seperated from SG1 and BSG. Kinda gives them all space though Atlantis needs it the most I think. |

The shows all complimented each other well and should have remained as a block. | |

| I've hated Sci-Fi since Farscape. I can understand that the show lost viewers and I've read the arguements against the show, but that's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about what they replaced it with in the time slot. Tremors: The Series. This is the kinda bullshit Sci-Fi pulls. I can't imagine someone choosing tremors over farscape, even if they think the show wasn't as good as it could have been. I think their problem is displayed with an action like that. They have the wrong mentality about sci-fi/fantasy. |

+14 Internets | Got a link for that rumored 11th episode? I honestly don't know why they'd pull SG-1, don't they have less popular stuff to pull? The stuff gets syndicated and has a fanbase around the world, I can't believe this isn't profitable once you include DVD sales... not to mention they share things like the CGI studio with Atlantis, so pulling SG-1 would make Atlantis more expensive to make. |

| Exactly. It looks lke two of the shows' ratings have sputtered since they split them up. Supposedly the NBC Execs are pushing these screwed up decisions. I don't see why they needed to make a change. If it aint broke, don't fix it. |

| Sci-Fi just aired a commercial that said SG-1 is returning for its final season in April. TV.com had the news report too dated Dec. 8th. I guess that's good news, depending on how you felt about the show. |
