Anyone watched this show yet?? I have been DVRing it but just sat down and caught up this weekend. Besides ROME it is the best show in TV.

Ahh damn I type and spell crappy, not like spell check would have helped here but I need to start using it.

Wow I thought there would be more buzz about this show. That is why I made the thread becuase I did not see on on the first page. I am surprised that this site gave such bad reviews.

I don't get why people think this show is great. Not many people do, but some folks, like you, are raving about it. I find myself watching it for lack of anything else on during that time slot, but from beginning to end it's one long sad string of Irish/Mob/Gangster cliches in a row. It's been like what 4 weeks now? I'm still waiting for it to get interesting/origional.

Why do people keep saying this? The only thing it has in common with Boondock Saints is that it contains Irish brothers.

well from all the commcericals i saw they looked like a group of thug brothers in boston outside of the law.

With all due respect Brekk, but you should really see a few episodes before judging it. Its not set in Boston, they aren't really "thugs". Its mostly just a show about a family that commits a crime, and their struggle to cover it up and attempt to move on in their lives. How does using the Irish make it a Boondock Saints clone? There is only so many stereotypical crime nationalities to draw upon. I suppose they could have made another Italian mafia show.

In any case, its an OK show so far. Nothing truly great yet, but it does have alot of potential. Its worth a Tivo.

One of the brothers is fucking crazy. The main Donnely is pretty cool character. THey are in way over their heads in what they are doing and the oldest brother knows it.
