| Romo is a manwhore | That's disappointing. I enjoyed the show for what it was and liked the fact that they catered it to the older crowd instead of toning it down. However, given that the DVD hasn't come out yet, I'm willing to bet that how those sales go will make the final determination. |

| Looks like the show has been officially cancelled. Supposedly Spike has cancelled the show and will instead expand TNA Wrestling from one hours to two to make up for the loss in original programming. From what I have been reading, the show did break Spike TV ratings records with its debut (it had a rating of 2.4), but fell to a 1.0 rating in its season finale. That is about a 60% drop off in ratings over the course of a season (which is pretty high). While I was starting to like the show as the season went on, it looks like most of the people did not like some aspect of the quality of the show. My only two complaints is that some of the fights (not all) were weakly choreographed and also the show didn't feel very comic bookish. Blade is a Marvel comic, and you never see and comic book charachters fight the same villains for 20 issues straight. Yet the show kept giving us the same villains every week. Maybe some of the hardcore comic book fans expected a show closer to the paper version and were turned off to the show.

| What bullshit. This show broke several boundaries in the TV-Vampire connection, and did so pretty much effortlessly. Of course Blade is a comic book hero (or anti-hero). I thought the show was catering to the crowd who might have read Blade when it first came out (a while ago), and was now a more mature audience than the average age of the comic-movie-industry viewer. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm disappointed to say the least, if the cancellation is true. I'm even more pissed off that I had to miss the season finale because I was out of town. Hell, for all I know the viewership was 999,999 thousand and I would have been the 1,000,000th viewer to help bump it up over the ratings threshold. Fuck. Lame. Blaezen.
