Anyway, I like Blade I and II (III sucked). I am a man's man, and I like to see Kung Fu and stuff blowing up. So if this show has lots of that, I will like it. If you don't like non-stop action, explosions and Kung Fu, you might want to go to the doctor to get your testerone levels checked, or try turning to Lifetime. I am looking forward to this show. My only concern is that he might not be able to physically pull of the moves that Blade needs to, and if he uses 32 stunt doubles like Ben Affleck did for Daredevil, that could be a minus.

| Ya I remember Onyx and Slam I liked it myself. Hell he was decent at playing Kern Little in The Shield. But Blade isn't a gang banger and thats all this guy can pull off in his "acting" that alone makes the show have little chance of success atleast for me to watch it. |

| Maybe this show won't be so bad. Suposedly one of the writers for Batman Begins has been working on the show. We might end up being pleasantly surprised.

Anyways... I still watch Spike for MXC. If Comedy Central picked that up though, I doubt I'd ever flip over.

| I knew Blade the Series was going to blow, but the little side interviews Joe Rogan did with Sticky Fingaz during the Ultimate Fighter 3 Finale over the weekend helped cement that fact for me. If anyone saw it, you know exactly what I mean. |

| Never heard of Slam, so I know of this guy as the racist black dude from Overthere on FX. Of course, I think I was the only person on the entire planet that actually watched that show. And yes, this looks horrible.

I'll tune in to the first couple of episodes of Blade just to give it a chance. Not to mention that UFC is having an Ultimate fight Night Live on Wednesday before the first episode and there is really nothing else to watch on that night.

+12 Internets | Saw the pilot for this today and its actually not too bad. It has the same sort of feel as Highlander the series does, in that is trying to carry on from a movie, but with a much lower budget. Hopefully it can get some decent storylines happening that will keep interest up in and develop into somethinggood. Besides, not like there's a whole lot else to watch at the moment. |

| Blade Carves Out Spike Ratings Record The first show did well in the ratings. Personally, I find the show boring. We'll see what the later shows do, after the hype dies down. A 2.0 rating is pretty high for cable. To give a frame of reference, the premiere of ECW Wrestling on Sci Fi was the most watched show on all of cable with a 2.4 rating. Blade Carves Out Spike Ratings Record http://www.multichannel.com/article/CA6348787.html "The debut of Spike TV’s first original scripted action-adventure series, Blade: The Series, was a record-setter for the men’s-targeted network. The premiere Wednesday from 10 p.m.-midnight (EST/PST) earned a 2.0 Nielsen Media Research household rating and drew 2.5 million viewers, both representing Spike TV records. Spike TV also announced that iTunes Music Store users can download a free copy of the two-hour premiere episode through July 11. And new episodes of Blade: The Series will be available for purchase on iTunes the day after they air on the network."

| Just finished watching the finale. It's not a bad show. Some of the acting isn't quality stuff, but there are a few that do their parts very well. The action is fair for the most part with some good scenes here and there. The effects are what you might expect for cable. The overall story is interesting if you enjoy vamp stuff. |

| I won't weep into my pillow over it, but that's dissapointing if true. It's one thing about TV that I've always disliked. These stations will gladly put shit on the airwaves if it can make them money. If a show is great but doesn't make enough profit they let it go. Let's imagine for a moment if all networks aired only quality shows, regardless of profit margins. |

| That promo had a Mad TV sketch feel to it for some reason. I kept waiting for something stupid and unfunny to happen but all I got was stupid.
