for me, i dont watch dubs because the voice actors end up speaking in a really awkwards or annoying way or just out right out of place such as naruto.. fuck naruto's VA is a piece of ass cunt shit
oh i forgot, JOOTSOO JYEAH... yeah most of the time dubs are extremely annoying because they are lazy fuckers

Yeah. The dubbed version is actually the first one I saw, back when it aired on G4 about 6 months ago. I've seen the subtitled version in bits and pieces, mostly through downloads, and I just don't enjoy it as much.

Honestly, half the fun of the Subs is having from slaughter the english names. Its corny, but anyone else who watched it would know exactly what you meant.

Found a great torrent last night, finished up dl'ing the whole thing overnight.

MKV version with both audio tracks and english subs. If anyone wants me to upload these instead of the japanese only, I will (super fast overnight here at college).

Video quality might even be a tad better than the ones I have up there atm.

Amusingly, I can already tell I don't really like the dub very well. Not as bad as most, but still not that great (imo).

There's no "L" sound in Japanese, or even really "R", only a pronunciation that's part way between the two (though more towards R than L). The funny thing is that most Japanese translators overcompensate and think that English uses L a lot more than it does and drop it in everywhere. All the bizarro hilarious manglings make sense if you know how the syllabary works.

Always use a translator who's a native of the language you're going into.

Loved the first half of the series, a perfect combination of asskicking and human drama. The second half was just filled with good asskicking but not nearly as compelling. The last episode was amazing though.
