+12 Internets | Favourite TV show Finales Well, stargate just finished up sort, and I was pretty dissappointed with it, which just led me to think about my favorite finishes. What were other people's favourite TV show ending? Or even season ending if they were really good. Here's mine, in no particular order.. Star Trek : TNG - Great 2 part episode that really tied the whole series together back to its pilot. Buffy - I really like how it ended up, was a good finish with some great scenes, and not too sappy with everyone happy at the end. Quantum Leap - I know a lot of people hate this ending, but I personally loved it. Even though it too was suppose to lead into tv movies, they never happened sadly, but the episode still works with a very poignant ending. |

| Haven't really thought about Series Ending episodes, but ever since it first aired I have believed that the season finale for Season 2 of The West Wing (Two Cathedrals) is the best hour of television written. |

+14 Internets | The only finale I ever recall watching was Seinfeld. I thought that was pretty awesome how they tied in so many of the characters that were a part of the show over the 9 year span in that one episode.

+20 Internets | Six Feet Under is by far the best Finale to a tv show I've ever seen. If you want to throw anime (Tv) into it I would like to add RahXephon, Wolf's Rain, and GunGrave. Most american tv finish shit so poorly (hi alias).

| B5's "Sleeping in Light" awesome episode full of dignity, drama, sadness, hope, very emotional many memories were brought back when Sheridan visited the places of the past and the shutdown of the station was one of the most memorable scenes for me in TV history added with the music bonus of Chris Franke, also fulfilling the prophecy given back so many years ago in Season 1 and 3 regarding Buffy the best ending was that of Season 5, after that the series dropped by a lot and the series ending was meh beside some nods here and there to the pilot episode (when Buffy, Willow, Giles and Xander met one last time in the school) Last edited by Manticore : 03-16-2007 at 07:04 AM. |

+26 Internets | I'd say any season ending episode of the Trailer Park Boys. Typically some or all of the characters end up getting busted for some large crime, and they end up in jail. The one where Leahy and Randy end up in jail while Ricky goes free is hilarious, second or third season I think. |

| Sam Malone, looking sadly, but fondly around the room, caressing the bar on his final walk by, turning off the lights and locking the door, before walking slowly up the stairs. I throat-lumped. =( RIP Cheers |

| I'll agree with you on that one, but that scene always gave me this weird vibe that something bad was about to happen. Every time I see it now, I keep expecting the guy that knocks to rob the bar and shoot Sam or something.
