Saw this the other day. Seems like a cross between E-Ring and Over There. Seems to be aimed more towards action and entertainment then any real authenticity. The chicks in it reminded me of the wives from Devil's Advocate. They just had a evil agenda vibe going on.

On a side note, I'd like to see a tv series or movie based on Rainbow Six, one that goes more for accuracy and depicted what such a organization goes through in real life.

the action was crap ... the slowmo/fastmo thing just doesn't look good.

and it doesn't help that whenever I see Haysbert i think "Palmer".

downloading it now I had high hopes for this show and I hope it does not dissapoint!!

I was forced to sit through an episode and thoroughly disliked every second of it. The show was artificial and obviously crafted into a "viewing experience". It had no flow, the characters were stereotypical banal archetypes, and it treated its viewers with no respect.

(Episode 2)
The team is running a mission, salvaging a a component from a fallen satellite, and it just so happens that a terrorist (apparently on the scale of You Know Who!) also wants it. However, unlike any terrorist worth his salt, this guy decides to do his field missions in person, without any backup from his network, and cronies that aren't even his. The protagonist sniper turns around in his moving vehicle, standing up, fires some rounds, and quips about the sudden discovery of said moron terrorist. He then explains who the man is and wonders if he is planning his next anthrax (!!!!111!!!1) attack! They capture him in a ludicrous standoff, and then the main protagonist has a cozy, tender chat with the (anthrax!!11!111) terrorist, who in a twist of brilliant writing, jumps out the open airplane door!

I hated it.

Truth - I thought I was watching the Unit, turned out to be 24.

I watched the entire season 1 two week ends ago, and actualy liked most episodes. Sure it's nothing realy new or original, but it was entertaining.
