Hopefully this will encourage people to purchase the box set in order to support Firefly and Whedon instead of simply downloading everything for free.

I downloaded all the episodes and enjoyed it so much I bought the box set. It's so cheap that why wouldn't you buy it if you plan to watch it a couple times or lend to friends.

I watched my friend's copy of Firefly, and have copied, and I decided to buy the box set myself as well (and the movie). It's that good.

I'm hosting it so folks here can get exposed to it. I might not host the whole thing, we'll see.

I netflixed the series, got disc 1 and watched it, went out and bought the set that night.

I watched every episode once, then deleted them. I thought Buffy and Angel were better. Perhaps I just never got past the fact that Jasmine from Season 4 of Angel and The Preacher dude from the last season of Buffy were good guys in this. But most likely it was just because I didn't like the idea of a sci fi western. The story and script were good (of course...we're talking about Joss Whedon here), but I'd put it behind House, Lost, and Alias (before this last season).
Speaking of which, shouldn't this be in the other forum?

Evil representative of the demons in hell, (can't remember the name) in angel last season = Jayne

With those characters chosen I thought Joss Whedon was going to put Angel and Buffy as the 2 main evil characters in Firefly sometime. Might still of done if they actually.. had a season but oh well =(

I've watched the DVD set of firefly twice. I'm going through Buffy again for the second time. Done Stargate twice. Babylon five only once but will probably work through it again sometime. Same will Smallville. Highlander I'm still working through the first viewing.
