Vanished

I was looking for some 1080p tv shows out there and someone uploaded a very high quality release of Vanished, so I figure I might as well take a look. What an incredible show.

It's about a US senator's wife who gets abducted at a gala diner. The people behind it appear to be extremly powerful and influential - all around the time of a Supreme Court Justice nomination hearing that the senator is involved in. We learn early on that he hasn't made up his mind yet, so it may have something to do with it.

I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't seen it yet. There's a lot of action, fast moving plot and all a pretty high body count so far.

I watched the first episode on TV and I wasn't impressed. I thought it was actually rather boring.

This show is kinda growing on me from the last few episodes. I kinda like those historical, mystery stories.

Yeah, too bad the show took so long to get into the whole historic mistery thing - I'm sure if they had started that earlier, they wouldn't have lost so many viewers. At least they're still going to finish the whole abduction story, just not the historic mistery
