Classic Saturday morning shows I've been scrounging bearshare (can't use BT) for old cartoon shows and I was wondering if you had any recommendations. So, how about it? What were your favorite classic morning shows?

All I can think of are really old Nickelodeon shows like Pinwheel, Lois and Brohms Elefant Show, David the Gnome, Gummi Bears . . Trying to think of other things that came on NBC or whatever in the early AM.

Came up with these with a friend after reminiscing . . Some old school cartoon that had a theme song that went "From my radio to my video" and featured some bad guys called the copy cats.... There was the show that had Wayne Gretsky, Michael Jordan and Bo Jackson fighting crime...can't remember the name of that one... Captin N, the game master Mario Brothers, the oldschool Dungeons and Dragons cartoon. Camp Candy, featuring the late John Candy. Monster High, with Rick Moranis as the principal of a school full of monsters. Today's Special . . Shit, use this: http://www.80scartoons.net/ Last edited by Intrinsic : 02-11-2006 at 10:44 PM.

Putting another vote in for Batman Beyond. That show was beyond its time, it wasn't even funny. I'm sad they canceled it for that shitty new Batman. Now that I think about it, the Batman Adventures (the one before beyond) was also just as awesome if not more so. The show was extremely dark for a cartoon, and the messages were not always clear-cut and goody-goody. I still remember the episode "Almost got him", where all the batman villains are sitting around playing cards and telling each other about the times they "almost got him", and it turns out Batman is disguised as one of them (can't remember which), and puts em all in jail at the end. That was awesome. /reminiscing off

oh jesus this thread delivers the pwn. Some of these cartoons I had completely forgot, but I loved them as a kid. ProStars! Beetlejuice! Camp Candy! Monster High! Captain FUCKING N!!! HAHAHAHA. awesome. I remember Captain N was the only reason I watched that stupid live action Mario Bros show, until he had his own episode (wasn't that how it worked? It was a short segment of the Mario Bros show, but then it got it's own show?). The episodes where they would visit each video game characters world, especially Mega Man's, were awesome. <3 Of course, Batman, X-Men, and Reboot all own. That goes without saying. Favorite Batman episodes were the Riddler ones, or anyone in which the villain put Batman into some kind of puzzle he had to solve. Mad hatter and Scarecrow sometimes did this too, but Riddler was the best at it. X-men, pretty much always owned.
