| Arrested Development. So how do you feel about AD being cancelled? I think it's an awesome show, probably the best sit-com I've ever seen, the writers on this series have done a great job on creating something new. And not to mention the actors, and the characters. It's simply great ![]() I keep reading it's ratings has always been low, so i've been wondering how so.. It's definitely better then most popular shows these days. Was it the air times over there in the states? Wrong channel? Or did you just simply not like it? (guessing the third choice)-Tecliz |

+11 Internets | I agree it was an excellent show. I watch maybe 3 hours of TV a week, and only ever saw maybe 4 episodes, but I loved each and every one. I'd say the show was simply too "high concept" for most people. See the Curb Your Enthusiasm thread, people either loved the show or thought it was stupid and unfunny. It could also be that Fox did it's usual excellent job of killing off an otherwise excellent series (The Critic, Family Guy, etc). |

+3 Internets | Arrested Development is one of the funniest shows to ever air. But, it's much too high brow for most of the american viewing public. Also, each episode costs a metric fuckton to make, so fox needs it to pull big ratings. |

| TV Guide I think said that HBO, Showtime, or someone else was looking in to picking it up. Then again that's TV Guide saying it. They did make a nice point that cancelling it could be the stupidest move Fox has recently made. They cancel one of the truly great series in favor of keeping American Idol, Nanny 911, Trading Spouses, Renovate My Family, Skating With the Stars, Hell's Kitchen, and So You Think You Can Dance. . . At least they have 24 and House or they would be completely worthless. |

| Well in all the advertisements for last nights finale they kept calling it the season finale, not series. So I'm still holding out the tiniest bit of hope it'll be back somewhere next year. |

+3 Internets | They were talking about the show on NPR yesterday, and they said that showtime plans to pick it up for a full season, but the only hold up is Hurwitz himself. He doesn't know if he wants to keep making it. |
