+1 Internets | Carnivale Wow, what a great show. I don't think any show has had me so interested in the storyline and really caring for characters as nuch as this one. I knew the show had been canceled, but as I watched the last episode it seemed like it was going to at least wrap up nicely. It prolly woulda if they had decided to cut about 30 seconds of scenes in the finale rather than showing the set up for the next season. Is there any info from the writers or any books/comics that have been made to continue the storyline. Between this show and arrested development being canceled I have lost faith in T.V. I think. Also, I've realized I really like this type of genre with the huge religious overtones of good and evil. Is there any movies or shows you can recommend along these same lines? Only one I can think of is Constatine which I also enjoyed. |

+7 Internets | IIRC it was cancelled to make way for Rome. I haven't gotten a chance to watch Carnivale but Rome was amazing. |

| Carnivale was such a great show and I hope the people who decided to cancel it get AIDS. If you haven't seen it just don't, because the way they ended the 2nd season will just piss you off that it's canceled.

| It just seems to me they were givin the go ahead around the smae time. Rome reportedly took a long time to actually get up and running compared to other HBO shows. Something just does not add up to me. |

| It was cancelled last year after the end of the second season. I think the show finished in early summer. It was a good show with an interesting story. It is like other movies/shows that get very good reviews but nobody watches. I don't think given the way HBO is rotating shows, that a programming slot was the issue. It just fell victim to budget and low viewing. |

| A movie wouldn't have been enough to wrap it up. Daniel Knauf predicted it would take 6 seasons to finish the entire storyline. Too bad, best show since Twin Peaks. Well, actually Deadwood might be better, but Rome sure isn't. |

| This show has been on HBO on Demand for the past few weeks now. I never saw it before on HBO in the past, but I have watched the first 10 episodes. It's a pretty interesting story. Sad to hear that it was cancelled.
