NBC is going to cover the shit out of this year's olympics. I hope more people get into it this year. The olympics haven't been to popular in recent years. Once they start, you should put in a link to Yahoo's medal count Millie, so we can have quick access to see how the U.S. is doing.

I cant wait for the Hockey to begin. Fuck the NHL, Olympic hockey is so much more exciting and worthwhile.

Canada gets to defend their gold medals, both the women and men's teams. I wasnt 100% happy with the roster chosen by the COC but I think it should be good enough to win the gold given Broduer stays on his game as well as he has since '06 began.

Everyone knows it's about the (mostly) underage girls in revealing attire during the ice-skating matches. Brittney probably has the Kleenex boxes ready, and his "gold/silver/bronze podium" all set up in the Hermione shrine, ifyaknowwhadImean.

LOL. This has actually been proven in ratings analysis. Olympics viewership spikes by nearly 500% during Women's Gymnastics in the Summer games, and Women's Figure Skating in the Winter games. These sports are considered the holy grail for Olympic advertisers.

The only part of the Olympics I care about is when the flat Hermiones go jumping around on the mats. But since this is the winter Olympics instead of the summer Olympics I’m gunna have to settle for the flat Hermiones that go skating around instead.

Frawdo, it's not that simple. Yeah we look great on paper, but so do the Czech's, Swedes, Russia and the Slovaks. Especially the first two, both with awesome goaltending. It's going to be a great tournament, that's for sure.

I live in North Carolina, and I have a feeling that the local bum-fuck ultra-religious television stations around me are going to pre-empt the opening ceremonies for ACC basketball.

Granted I realize how important basketball is in NC, but I want to see the olympics dammit!
