Supernatural

http://www.tv.com/supernatural/show/30144/summary.html

This is probably my favourite of the new shows thing season. Really reminds me of the early X-Files, where exploring and investigate unknown phenomena was done, rather then just the conspiracy stuff.

Also, it does a good job in terms of building up suspense and horror for a TV show. I hope it continues on for a while.

Anyone else watch this show?

So far the second season seems to be building on the first quite nicely. They have some longer arcs happening, but its still a mostly an episodic show so you can sit and enjoy an episode anytime.

I also love the writing on the show, it has so many great lines that are delivered really well.

It's ok. Needs more cute chicas though

The last episode annoyed me though. I hate to see religion given any credence.

Very Very dissapointed.

I watched 6 or 7 episodes of the 1st season and it didnt draw me in.
Unlike Heroes / Battlestar, or even Invasion

Lacks something to be an AAA series.
And too serious for a low budget experience.

I dont know if any of you share this feeling, but after watching 6 seasons of OZ.
Prison Break is just "Meh", somehow i have the same feeling with Supernatural.

Oz was the bomb!

minus the male frontal nudity, of course.

I like it. I'll like it more if they make each season more or less encapsulated. After Angel, I'm tired of cliffhangers and unresolved issued leading in to the next season.

After a couple of pretty weak episodes, the lastest one was great. The blah blah scene was a classic.

Just started watching season one, and it's not bad. It reminds me of some early 80's shows I watched as a kid that had a similar plotline (lost father or something like that to keep the main character(s) on the move each episode).

Big thumbs up on the choice of car and music too.

I enjoyed the latest episode. Was weird seeing 6 play someone normal, and almost couldn't recoginise her with the difference hair colour. Great ending to it as well thought possibly not enough ground work for the ending so its kinda out of left field.

Really? I saw that ending coming from 5 minutes into it. Still a pretty good season so far, though. I'm waiting for Samette's eventual return from demonland or wherever they dragged her off to.

Well, I meant by that fact they had to explain it in flashbacks on scenes not shown rather then leaving it as is, or flashbacking to scenes shown that explain it.

Ah, well, you have to remember that this is the network that inherited UPN's fanbase and still has 7th heaven on.
