That relic thief was super hot too. I have a feeling Dean will bump into her as well as Ruby in Hell.

My feeling is that Ruby planned for the contract to expire and to wait for Dean to get killed. She then left her body to return to hell to help Dean gtfo.

The question remains is how she plans to get Dean back into his body because as far as I know and seen, the Winchester brothers' dad got out but went straight to heaven after assisting the two of them.

Sadly Bella(Lauren Cohan) won't be coming back, she wasn't well liked by the fans for some reason. Another issue was her contract expired and they didn't sign her on for the 4th season due to budget issues.

Another budget issue was Dean in Hell, from what I read from a few of Eric Kripke's interviews is that they couldn't afford to actually put Dean in a full hellscape, which is what he wanted to do fully or not at all. And from all the descriptions the demons they have encountered gave them about hell makes me think that he may not be in the real Hell yet, maybe a waiting room of sorts for souls who die due to their contracts.

His body doesn't seem to be in very good shape to return to. Being ripped apart and rotting and all. Why would Ruby care about getting dean back? If anything she would use the trauma of him being in hell as a tool to manipulate sam. Being "sent far far away" can mean many things other than being sent to hell.

Then why would she even bother returning to hell? For all I know it just means she's just trapped there...again.

Well finished S3 and despite the "uninspiring start" of the series, i really like it.

For dean there are 2 possibilities :
-> When his father died, we can assume he was burried normally.
But when he came back from hell, he had a copy of his body.
Which means that if you can come out of a devil's door, you may materialise a body
Thats if you are still very very very human

-> Like ruby, take over a body.. why not a braindead/letuce for ethical reasons ?

Just finished watching my DVR recordings of these, and I have to say I like that they at least went through with the whole one year thing (so far at least). While I hated her character, Bella was a good antagonist for them, and was good to look at. I'm getting the impression that, if Ruby returns at all next year, it won't be in the same body. Which really depresses me because she was smoking hot.

I have to say they made me want to keep watching next season, that's for sure, which is great for a show that is more or less the same every week. They have to switch it up from the standard formula now, and I'm eager to see how they do that. If he ends up coming back the first episode and just "being a demon" doing the same thing, I'll definitely be disappointed.

I figured that since the smoke poured out of her mouth that body was done for, which is highly unfortunate because the body was smoking hot. It is possible they'll have Ruby show up in some other form though, just possessing a completely different (and less expensive) body.

Which still has to make me wonder, how much did that chick actually command as far as salary? Apparently she's the daughter of David Cassidy, which can't really be worth all that much, and her imdb doesn't exactly blow me away (Seventh Heaven, and a brief part in Click are the highlights). And she was an underage boozer, according to one of those links! Their budget must be shit if they can't afford someone of even her caliber.

Their budget has been going down steadily since season one, I really hope they make it to season five since that will be the final season. And yeah I bet she will be back in one form or another, like what happened with Meg from season one.
