Stargate 200

Heh anyone watch this? It was pretty damned funny. The Farscape spoof was #1. The SG1 Zombie movie, Wizard of Oz, and fake "previously on SG1" that had the ewoks were all pretty damned funny as well.

That was one of the funniest things I've seen on TV in a long, long time. There was so many inside jokes poking fun at the cast/show/etc I couldn't stop laughing.

Yeah the Farscape was hilarious(even though I wasn't really a fan of the show.)

Absolute classic!

It's up there with the original Worm Hole extreme, and the Groundhog Day ones.

Loved it, altho the clips riffing on other shows didn't go long enough, but the puppet thing went on too long.

Otherwise, awesome.

They OBVIOUSLY still have some talent around there. I just wish their regular episodes were of this quality.

Scifi announced SG1 isnt being renewed for season 11. 15 more episodes and SG = byebye. Atlantis is still going, tho.

I knew it would happen, but SG-1's cancellation still saddens me

It's been one of the very few shows I actually made an effort to catch every single week, even through some of its not-so-hot seasons.

Atlantis is alright I guess, but I don't see myself making a point to watch it. I generally only watched it because it followed SG-1, and since I was tuned in already I figured why not. I really don't think it's a strong enough show to stand on its own.

It'll be hurt even more with the year-round programming schedule Sci-Fi has come up with, which staggers the seasons of Stargate and BSG to make it so one or the other is on year round.

Starting to hate Sci-Fi, cancelling SG-1 is horrible, fortunately there's word SG-1 will continue in some way or another, just not on Sci-Fi.

Take that with a grain of salt, could be a movie, series on another network, or books! Oooooh.

Either way, I personally didn't pay SG-1 too much attention till the Ori storyline started, there's been some crappy(filler) episodes here and there but overrall the storyline progression episodes were personally in my opinion pretty good.

Books are the medium DS9 fans are forced to turn to if they want continuation. Most of the "DS9 season 8,9" releaunch novels are pretty decent, but they have such long stretches of time between them. Warpath came out a few months ago, next one isn't due until 2007. And Warpath ends on a cliffhanger. Fuckers.

You know, I would have accepted it if they cancelled SG-1 at the end of season 7. I'd have accepted it at the end of season 8. Even season 9 was mostly so-so. Then comes season 10 which so far has been one of the best enemies of all times, with a new opponent that seems well thought out and is actually interesting. They have the whole ancients thing going - and NOW they cancel it?

The show airs in over 100 countries (and at least in europe it's a huge success too) they have to make a fortune on syndication alone... I don't get it. Hopefully another channel (UK's Sky One?) will buy the rights and keep it going.

I don't see why they'd keep Atlantis and not SG-1... they combined much of their resources (like the CGI team) to cut down on costs, so both shows use the same people... so cutting SG-1 actually makes Atlantis more expensive.

I think Stargate is what it is, a techno-babble action fest, but I still enjoy it. I actually really liked the idea with the girl growing up and being the main bad ass.

My feeling is that Atlantis won't survive past season 4 without SG-1 to precede it up. Atlantis is starting to look promising - with the revealing of the Asurans/Replicator predecessors, it looked as if Atlantis is getting a serious badass that isn't so generic as the Wraith.
