The end of the first hour was telling enough of where this season is going. Jack gets what info he needs from the assassin, then ventilates him 15 seconds later.

They really do need to work on their tech terminology badly, every time I hear the phrase "Open a socket to ..." in this show I cringe.

It only took until season 6 or so of stargate before they started trusting SG1 to do whatever the fuck they wanted.

All I really have to say about 24 is it won't be my favorite show again until we hear him shout "TELL ME WHERE THE BOMB IS" at least once per episode.

Season 4 Rocked. So far the show is off to a good start. I remember the beginning of season 4 was alot stronger than season 5. This show just rocks too much. Jack's just so lawful good. Jack for Prez.

Was the total opposite for me. I wasn't really enjoying S4 much until Tony turned up.

Agreed. Tony is the fucking man. Season three was my favorite. Season one repeated the story from the first half of the season in the second half of it. As for the second season, it wasn't bad, but so much shit went down in season three is was insane. It sucks that Haysbert (aka President Palmer) had to sign on to the series "The Unit" (http://imdb.com/title/tt0460690/) or we might have seen more of President Palmer.

I just got done rewatching all of season 4 this weekend, they never say the president dies. He was hurt and in a coma, thats why they invoked the 25th amendment to bring in the new pussy ass retarded president.

The new season is off to a good start, plenty of foreshadowing and plot twists already. I didn't think I was going to like samwise, but he is doing alright so far. His character is coming across as someone with common sense. Lets see if he doesn't go retarded on Jack at some point.

One thing I really like about 24 is the hand to hand combat is well done and seems very real. It doesn't seem staged or practiced.
