They arent from the south, or even the bible belt; they're from Topeka.

Being from Kansas, I'm terribly embarassed by this family and the image they give people of us.

As far as Kansas residents go, I'm infinitely more proud of the BTK killer, those dudes from In Cold Blood, the dude from blackhawk down who molested his 8year old (he's in Ft. Leavenworth Penn), and anybody in Leavenworth Fed Prison than I am of these people.

I've seen them and other weirdos who say the same shit on campus at KU and nobody likes them. I remember when I was in HS they used to come up to Leavenworth to protest to take our "Hometown of Melissa Etheridge" sign down.
