| The POV got annoying after a while, mostly because of the blurring and constantly focusing/losing focus. When he first woke up it was understandable, but to have to watch about 1/3 of the episode like that was way too much. It would have been a much cooler plot device without it. |

| I thought this episode was exciting and new. Honestly, I've never even heard of this syndrome so I wikipedia'd it and it sounds very fucking frightening. It was a really well done episode, imho.

Meanwhile, somebody has a new secret in their personal lives. Option A. House has a secret, he leads the people who are trying to figure out what it is down the wrong path and convinces them that their false assumptions are correct. At the end of the episode(after the patient is cured, or even coinciding with his epiphany moment), his secret is revealed, but always in a fashion such as to disappoint his friends. Option B. Somebody who isn't House has a secret, House attempts to analyze his way into an answer, is usually close, person retaliates(how is dependent on whether the person is 1. Cuddy/Wilson or 2. Employees). For example, Wilson tries to emulate House be attempting to convince House that his false assumptions are correct, which never holds up for more than 2 scenes. House then takes said secret and essentially gloats about having figured it out(this can be by giving advice, teaching a lesson, or retaliating against the person's initial retaliation). There are episodes that don't follow this formula, but they are the exception. This most recent episode was not one of them.

+47 Internets | OMG it's right there, take the extra step and make the horrible pun. I actually like mos def most of his roles are shitty, but he's not a bad actor. I thought he was good in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, even if the movie wasn't. Last edited by Tea on tuesday; 04-03-2009 at 10:31 PM.. |
