| I was worried, honestly. I was worried from the previews that this wouldn't be the same cynical asshole that we've all come to love. There was just enough sarcasm and arrogance to keep me happy, though. Long live House! (But, yeah, that hairdo was horrendous.)

| My beef with the episode (which I'm awaiting to see how the next handles it), is that Cuddy and Wilson actually think they could keep House from finding out...after a miracle occured, in the lobby of a large hospital, with many many witnesses, where the news woulda spread like wildfire... Seemed like a real stretch. Oh, and both finding out that his leg really does feel better, then bringing him back onto the Vicoden within one episode really felt rushed. Other than that though, it was awesome, I enjoyed seeing House back in action. =) |

SPOILERS BELOW! I thought it was a stretch, but I still enjoyed it. The new house seemed like the writing team just trying something new and then realizing it didn't work, so they brought back the old house. The thing about House is, HE MAKES THE SHOW! If people feel his character has changed and don't enjoy him, the show will go downhill. While I didn't mind his change of character, I knew others did and it definitely couldn't work for a long period of time. Next week, it should be back to House from season 1 and 2.

+20 Internets | Well House was operating on the kid. That's what I hate about these shows, in House the same three doctors do all the surgeries, almost no matter what; they must be the most excellent doctors/surgeons ever. It's like in Alias where 5 seasons in they're using the same agents in every operation still to go undercover and somehow the badguys have not figured this out. |

there are many episodes where they have other doctors do heart surgery, cancer removal and transplants. there are the episodes where House runs into the OR sneezing on the instruments to get them to stop and those are with other doctors. Although this isn't the first time House has been picking in someone's brain... As i believe Foreman once said.. "get out of my frontal Lobe, House!"

+20 Internets | I said "almost" on purpose and actually almost mentioned, they only time they don't is when they want you to see if House can stop the surgery on time and how he'll do it. The only time he or one of them isn't operating is when they have House rush in and do something crazy 9 times out of ten (the other time is when he was nice guy coping the patients wife). |
