This is obviously the best show on TV. Kari Byron alone makes it worth watching, even if it sucked, but it also is a sweet show where nerdy guys build cool gadgets and eventually just blow shit up.

Mythbusters is indeed a fairly awesome show, but I can't fucking stand when people quote them as if they were like scientific gospel.

Agreed there are a few of the "experiments" I've seen them do that "busted" myths that just are so lax and leave so many questions unasked/answered that you can't make any claims based on them.

But it is an entertaining show to watch.

They've had some questionable "busted" myths, but they've done a few good ones too. The main one that sticks out in my mind is the Alcatraz escape one.

Not to mention they are more than willing to go back and re-do myths if they get enough/proper feedback about what they did wrong.

Another great Discovery show is Dirty Jobs. The show isn't all that interesting itself, but the host is funny in a witty/sarcastic way that cracks me up.

Every time I catch an episode of Mythbusters, it almost makes me want to shell out the cash for cable...but then I remind myself how little t.v. I really do watch.

Any good myth is a myth where they have an excuse to blow shit up imo.

I liked it just fine when it was just the two. After they brought on the other two chuckleheads and the ho (there were two hos for a while), it kind of went down hill for me. It seems like they give the bitchboys the simple tasks and retain the more complex experiments for the original two.
