Never really got around Veronica Mars though. Saw first episode of Prison Break the other day, it seems pretty cool. All my friends are very hyped up about it atleast. No idea what Chloe is. Never really got around Lost either, in fact I never really watch any series on the tele. I usually wait till they're done and DL em and spend a sunday

Chloe is from Smallville, and Brittney is on the crack again.

And Ham, the show gets better after a few episodes. The overall plot about the dead girl/whodunit does, at any rate. Personally I would like the show a whole lot more if they'd made it more Twin Peaks-ish and less 'look, retarded teens!' There's a couple points in season 1 where they seem like that's where they wanted to go, but never quite made it there.

I really hope this show gets a third season after the merger - now that West Wing is almost over, this has become my new favorite show. Not exactly the same type of show, but then again West Wing is rather unique.

Downloaded the two seasons about two weeks ago, but didn't start watching until last weekend - fully catched up now and it's been awesome. Maybe it's different if you get to see all episodes without having to wait a week inbetween them. Definatly worthy of rewatching though.

Okay the show gets a little better, I've watched the first 9. I really wish they would spend more time on the murder case and less time on tracking down high schoolers with jealousy though.

Kendall has a financial motive. She's broke and if beaver and dick both die, she gets the insurance payout. She also removed a hair from Duncaan's shower and the hair was found on an oscar statue with lilly's blood on it: Probably her framing him, which seems to be her favor for Aaron Echolls. She wanted to buy the Kane House, and the new owners found that statue - wonder what's in it for her though.

The Fitzpatricks have a motive to kill off one of the kids on the bus, and the mayor telling his daughter not to go on the bus is also suspicious. Plus he's probably being extortet by someone and pulled Keith off the case when he found out what they knew - wonder what that is.

And the suspicion that the bomb might have been in a backpack that was supposed to be with the rich kids in the limo... also adds quite a few other suspects. Maybe the mayor wanted to kill off his daughter too - she's not exactly the brightest bulb, especially when she told Lamb her father told her not to be on the bus. And she got a call before the bus went down, maybe to confirm that she was not on the bus. (could go either way on who the mayor wanted to kill... if he's behind it)

It's not the greatest show on TV, but it beats 90% of what else is on.

I haven't seen the latest episode yet, but I really liked the previous one (with the dream sequences on the bus). Is this the David Lynch-esque style that someone was referring to earlier?

Veronica doesn't usually bark up the wrong tree (I guess because they've only got 40 minutes per episode to tell a story), but this time she was exploring every avenue she could find that didn't lead to her being the target of the bus crash. And it was a bit sad at the end when she exhausted the other possibilities and kept coming back to herself.

As for the Chloe vs. Veronica angle, when I first heard about the show I figured for sure it was a total ripoff. After seeing the show, I don't think that's the case, although there are definitely similarities. I like Chloe on Smallville, but I think that show has declined in quality. I still watch it, but I find I'm disappointed more often than not.

While looking for info on a previous episode that I couldn't remember thanks to the two month and a half breaks the show took this season, I came across this gem of a post on imdb re: this week's episode...

When I watched that(I taped it)and rewatchd that scene again. Cried for 40mins got out my Veronica Mars soundtrack put I Hear the Bells on repeat 4 times. Then sat on my bed stairing @ my LoVe posters on my wall. Got under the covers cried a little bit more. Finally falling asleep. The I woke up @ 3:30am the layed in bed for and hour more (cz I remebered what I had watched) went back to sleep. Anyways what got me hard is the only time Veronica's only ever cried in front of Logan is when he confronted her about her dad going after Jake, then again when she told him she was raped, and once more when he saved her from the Fitzpatricks. So basicaly he's seen he cry for her best friend and herself but now he's seen her cry for him! I honestly had a gut fealing it was either Kenndal, Madison, or Gia in that hotel room. But the one thing that is bothering me is how are the gonna have a conversation again? What is there left to say?

I'm just about speechless. I realize teens are stupid by definition, but goddamn...


Never did find what I was looking for either. Anyone remember what the link between Lucky and Meg was? And what was in Cliff's briefcase when the hooker stole his stuff? Guess I shouldn't have deleted all the episodes I downloaded before the season had ended.

Pretty good site - has summaries of all the episodes and a list of "important parts" that may be part of the larger plot.

As for the briefcase: it contained documents on the Aaron Echolls case, but after the disappearance of the video tapes, that didn't seem to be important anymore.

I've wanted to tap that ass ever since I saw her in Deadwood, playing the "cocksucking thief-cunt bitch" (Ex. Swearagen), in that scene where she is prepping for a fuckfest with some cowboy (and she's 14 years old - wild west ahoy)!
