Prison Break is decent, Bones is bad, Surface is absolutely fucking horrible. I'm having trouble figuring out how in the flying shit this show actually made its way to airtime.

Only things I'm really watching atm is My Name is Earl, The Office (fucking awesome), and the standard Simpsons, and Family Guy.

Prison Break is excellent. It's as exciting as Lost Season 1 was.

Lost Season 2, however, is falling far short of the amazingness of its debut season.

Duh, that's because the Romans kicked ass! They didn't conquer most of Europe(pesky Germans and Celts) with just luck. You're telling me a series whose theme is the uncanny combination of Cast Away and Survivor is better than an HBO series about the people who invented vomitoriums?

Don't get me wrong, I'm a bit of a roman history buff but Lost imo has been a superior show.

Doesn't help Rome out that history buffs know exactly what is going to happen next either...

I would like to take this moment to state that I think that Jennifer Love Hewitt's new ESP psychic dead-talker show is superior to Medium; at least JLH is boneable. And the late great Eliza Dushku show was better than either!

And Chloe > Veronica Mars. All Hail Zod.

Are you kidding me? That show went Dreaming for 15 minutes of someone dying -> 30 minutes of her having dream deja vu -> 15 minutes of her changing things so said person doesn't die. Every single episode. It was horribly predictable, with poor acting, and shitty writing.

It doesn't help that it had one of the ugliest most annoying actresses alive as the lead cast member. I wanted to stab that bitches face every time it showed a closeup of her. I get mad thinking about her.

it was more like 15 minutes of someone dying, then 30 minutes of run run run bounce-a-bounce-a. They should've put her in more tank tops. It would've succeeded then.

I'd never heard of this before so I dl'ed 4 episodes. I can't say I really like it, but it's definitely the kind of thing that I'd watch if I happened to sit down and it was on the TV. The driving plot for the whole series is interesting, it reminds me of those late-70's/early 80's "man on a mission" / cliffhanger shows. The individual episode plots...not so much. I can accept the Veronica character, but the rest of the kids set off the bullshit alarms. A high school "biker gang" of poor kids who all have $10-20k bikes? Rich kids who take shit from the bikers without calling in daddy, his lawyer, and their good friend the Sheriff? C'mon... they could've done a lot better.

I watched the first two episodes because I heard someone say, "It's the new Buffy." It was OK, I guess...but I don't think I'll watch any more.

I can't argue with this and feel it does detract from the overall quality of the show. That said, I've enjoyed Season 1 and Season 2 to date. I like that the show has a very dark undercurrent and that Veronica can be tough as nails but also vulnerable.

I'm pretty sure the real reason I watch the show is:

Chloe still > Veronica Mars

Fuck that Chloe ripoff show.
I would do Veronica Mars though.

I really liked season 1 (the overall plot, like I said way back whenever this thread was created, not so much the week to week stuff) when it was all said and done. Season 2, not so much. I think it's been blatantly obvious from the episode where the bus went over the cliff that the mayor was responsible or at least involved in the explosion. If I'm wrong, then I'll probably re-evaluate my opinion of the season.

On top of that, having two gaps between episodes that lasted 7 and 5 weeks was really irritating. I can barely even remember what happened back when it started.

Definitely one of the more compelling reasons to watch the show, for sure.
