| Assuming the Others have nothing to do with Dharma, that would discount Alvar Hanso as having any connection to them (current connection or previous, I suppose). Aside from him the only imposing figure I think we know of is Mittelwerk who has stolen a virus and is on the run. |

No idea if EITHER of them are still Dharma though. I think Dharma was the initial "good intention" program, but its long gone, and we now have the "others" lead by mittlework, and Hanso is still on the run. If you go and read all about the Lost Alternate Reality game, alot of this meta info is filled it, but its not real essential to the show.

+32 Internets | So I guess this means he's not invited to the birthday party now!?! Seriously, wtf. Lost has just either done something very brilliant, or very stupid. If they pull this off successfully, fucking A season 3 could be a amazing season *on whole*. |

| So, what do all the recent series nay-sayers have to say about last night's episode? Any redemption? =) Anyone out there NOT think last night was a great episode? A few big questions answered, several others better explained, and (of course) a few new big ones posed. =) |

| All I have to say about last night is, 'holy fuck'. Of all the ways I thought Locke ended up in that damn wheelchair, that was NOT one of them. We know why Ben didn't just leave the island to get surgery. I am sort of pissed at myself for not putting two and two together on that score; hell, that answer was hiding in plain sight. Also, Ben and Locke's conversations were just hands down awesome. All of a sudden, the Island has been re-established as more of a mystical presence than an actual place; Locke has been re-established as an asskicking shaman with his own agenda instead of a whiny button addicted bitch; and Jack might get his shot at a threesome with Juliette and Kate. Yeah, I thought last night's episode was pretty damn good. Locke did not disappoint! |

+23 Internets | I'm not sure about last night's episode. I still don't understand Locke's motivation for doing all this stupid and crazy shit. He doesn't want to leave the island? Ok, then don't fucking leave. Why blow up anyone else's chance at leaving though? Hopefully they explain what exactly is going on with him and Ben. And hopefully they do it without 100 filler episodes. |

+1 Internets | Ahh. If the daughter was born on the island then perhaps thats why Ben took her under his wing. Also would explain them kidnapping Claire's baby. And why they took Jack (knowing that he is claires half sister). Edit: other than the fact that he could do the surgery. It seems if you born on the island you serve some purpose. I really hope we start seeing some flashbacks of Ben soon. That story arch could be great if done right. Last edited by Kylax : 03-22-2007 at 08:12 AM. |

Rewatch the scenes with him talking to Ben, and look at it from the perspective that Locke has a bigger picture in mind, other than just wanting to stay on the island for himself. Like a plan to expose the island, or Ben or something of that magnitude. Also, did anyone catch how when whazzhisname came in to inform Ben that they had captured Sayid and Kate, that he called them by different names? Great episode!

| Great episode last night. Two questions though: Why cant anyone find this island? I mean, if tagged birds fly over it, then we know it must be on earth somewhere in its oceans or lakes. So then what would make it so hard to find. Even if the island moves, per say, it would still be detectable via satellite imaging. Secondly, I really dont like the idea of the magic box. It's too easy to explain all the phenomenon on the island. Like, the monstar and horse. The reason why Jacks dad appeared and Hurley's friend showed up. However, it seems as if Locke is a second coming of Jesus. He can control this island it seems, to benefit him. He can heal, he can create stuff out of thin air. I dunno, I think the box is an easy cop out for what could really of been something crazy awesome. Get me that man from Tallahassee! |

+2 Internets | Did Jack have a new tattoo in this episode? During the beginning, while being watched by Kate and company from afar, he puts his left arm out and leans against a wall/door. There is a huge, red colored tattoo on the underside of his arm. It could be I just never noticed it before and it has always been there. Or am I just seeing things? |
