I posted a big fuss about people 'ruining' the sopranos ending about a year back, promised myself not to come back to TV house forum. Made the mistake and starting browsing again a month or two back. Last night saw the spoiler unanotated, didn't post about it because I was a dumbass for coming back.

Next season I wont even think about clicking this thread.

Shame because I really enjoy some of our posters insight.

Octagon link take you to a dharma initiative recruitment site, not alot on it, about the same as the commercial. Asks for an e-mail address and when submitted says "A recruiter will contact you shortly, see you in San Diego" Im guessing its a neat way to get fans to a "fan fest" or some such or a hints newsletter. /shrug, we'll see.


Awesome episode tho, so glad i was able to avoid the spoilers.

Episode comments/questions!

1- I think Jin is still alive. I have a feeling Michael is, so it stands to reason (in my mind anyway) that Jin could still be alive.

2- What happened to Bernard and shit? I dunno if they ever got onto a boat or if they're still on the island. They mentioned they didn't take everyone but it sure seemed pretty damn empty over there (when Sawyer swam back, you only saw that chick).

3- Anyone else think Faraday is now lost-in-time like Desmond was? He wasn't on the island when it went away, but the island didn't seem to take the water and shit with it... so where'd his little boat go? He seemed to know it was going to happen too or maybe I misinterrupted his dialog with the other 2 research people.

I didn't read any spoilers, I make a note to never read any of that stuff. Were the spoilers from before it was aired really accurate? If so that really sucks.

Okay now I will spoiler some stuff before I watch it again:

Just some points, random thoughts:

-I loved how it started with the end of season 3, that was pretty cool how Kate backed up the car.

-I loved how Desmond got to be back with Penny. I think I would have been upset if he had drowned when the chopper crashed.

-Right before the boat blew up Christian Shepard appeared and spoke to Michael that was pretty trippy. The whole Christian Shepard thing is pretty crazy.

-I love how the island disappeared/moved that was pretty intense. I can't wait to rewatch Ben go underground to do that. BTW they hinted how deep they had gone. Locke asked :How deep are we?" and Been replied "DEEP!". Journey to the center of the Earth? That ice cold room the outside of the core of the earth maybe? Because on the other side you could see magma or something. And Ben warped off the island to the desert.

-LOCKE WAS IN THE COFFIN!!! Sucks that he died, but I am guessing that Locke cloned himself like a bunny, because there is no way he would ever leave the island and he just can't die, he is way too badass/godly to die.

-The freighter blew up and the people on it were either killed or were floating in the ocean. When the island moved/disappeared there is no way they could have gotten on the island. So they either drowned or are somewhere in the real life. Which means that Michael and Jin are sadly probably dead.

-So it looks like the only LOSTIES left on the island are Sawyer, Locke, Rose, Bernard, Charlotte, Miles, and Juliette. Everyone else is either dead or off the island.

-Walt seeing Hurley was a good scene ecpecially when Hurley was playing Chess with MR ECHO! "Checkmate Mr Echo."

-Sun went to see Mr Wittemore and wants to talk to him about the island. Does she want to get back too?

-Ben blew that ship up on purpose. His line to Locke was classic.

-And finally Jack must get the oceanic 6 plus Locke on a plane to get back to the island but everyone is in the wind and Claire has told Kate not to bring Aaron back to the island. Next season will be interesting. I just hope that we get to actually learn all of the secrets of the island eventually. I would like to see Locke learning all about the island from Richard.

Anyways, I am going to watch it again. Way too much stuff went on to soak it all in. BTW, where or when did the island move to?

I was pretty damn underwhelmed. All I am going to do is complain about the women:

Kate: "Why would I go to his funeral?" Wait, Kate doesn't care whether Locke is alive is dead because, what, he brought up bad memories? He kicked her out of Othersville so she didn't get whacked like a bunch of redshirts? What an irrational bitch.

Jack: "Sun blames me for Jin". Wait, out of the only two people that Sun blames for dying, one of them is Jack, who did nothing more than not use what little fuel the chopper had to look for a body stuck at ground zero of an explosion that sunk the freigher in seconds? Not, you know, the guy that planted the bomb, the guy that triggered the bomb, or the guy that hired the guy that planted the bomb. What an irrational bitch.

Christ, the only women worth a damn on the show are Juliet and Rose (depending on just where she was).

Re: the redshirts: I think Daniel only ferried the first batch over (which was what, 4 or 5 redshirts?). They are kind of implying that most of the Locke camp redshirts bought it though, so there are still a dozen or so floating around (not counting those grabbed by The Others).

well the guy in the coffin was exactly who a lot of people predicted. As usual it left more questions than answers.

Seems fairly clear to me that Jin survived and was likely picked up by Farraday's boat.

Also, remember the last time someone came to the island in a coffin? (John is the new Christian?)
