I totally disagree. Two good episodes after 2 extremely weak ones.
They are building up Sawyer's evil side, so it had a point.
Sayid's backstory was good, and the guy from Carnivale is a bonus.
Jack is a pussy.
I can only agree on the "No Kate" part.

I'll give you the guy from Carnivale point but just flip the situation and it makes no sense. What if Iraqi's invaded America, took a soldier hostage and showed him some videos of American troops gassing a town somewhere. Is that soldier then going go torture another American soldier? I fucking doubt it.

I have never been in the military but if I was in that situation and found out that another American caused the death of my uncle, cousin, or any other relative, I sure as hell would have tortured him.

Maybe Sayid just realized he really hated the other guy. And he probably was pressured into it. And threatened by the americans. "You really wanna see Cuba, Sayid?" And he wanted to help find and save the helicopter pilot, because he is a good person?
Ok, that might not make much sense. But it didn't really bother me. The show as a whole doesn't, either. Maybe it will all make sense, one day, in the grand finale. Haha. Well, maybe. Good episode.

I am assuming that if the second one was shown, that would have meant that the timer truly reached "zero". Anyway, I still for the life of me can't figure out the last one.

I really hope all the questions surrounding the hatch, eg what happens when the counter hits zero, who the others are, where the other hatches are, what the dharma initiative is doing etc etc, are answered this season and not saved for season 3 or even season 4.

They said it was posted on the ABC boards and on something called 'the 815 boards." I guess the second one is a Lost fansite?

I got those pictures from this thread on realpoor.com .

Beware, Realpoor is far more NWS on a routine basis than Fohguild.org/forums. :P

Wow, what an annoying episode.

I didnt know Sawyer was an asshole before tonite's episode, that wasn't a
waste of air time! And we finally get to see when the counter hits 0! Ohwait no we dont, we get more cryptic characters.

5/10 for this episode. High marks for lack of Angry-Latina-Bitch(tm) though.

Was an O.K episode. At least we found out why Hurley was still fat.

Well, tonight's episode brought more answers, and more questions, that any previous episode ever, I think.

Jesus Christ, I'm not sure what the hell to make of Claire's experiences except that I'm starting to think that goddamn plane never crashed in the first place even more now.

I'm trying to think hard of the significance of kate finding out that Zeke was disguising himself, but for the life of me i can't think why that would be important. That is, unless we see the un-masked Zeke was involved in a flashback.

Overall the episode was alright. Locke flipping out like that was a bit out of character, and the lack of Sayid was dissappointing. Mr. Echo continues to be an enigma, and always leaves me wanting more (wru jesus stick of wtfpwn)
