I enjoyed this show. I was kind of angry at it cause NBC kicked Scrubs to the sidelines for it, but now that Scrubs is back and Earl is moved to Thursdays, all is well in the world.

Resurrected! So apparently Earl is cancelled. Which I guess is not surprising since this is the only Thurs night NBC comedy show I had to work to find a thread for. Still, I'm very disapointed. This past season was one of their best, they clearly got rid of whatever wasn't working from seasons before. I personally think this show was another late casualty from the Writer's Strike. The quality of the show on and around when that strike occured was so diminished I think it lost a lot of audience. Really too bad because I think it had tons of potential left.

I've read two separate articles now about how FOX might pick it up and run with it. I will hope for that because I honestly enjoy the show. I actually enjoy it more than The Office. Although that is probably because I watched the BBC Office before the American version.

The fact that it seems like they might be keeping "Parks and Recreation" and dropping Earl convinces me that they might have been taken over by brain parasites.

Parks and Recreation is good imo. But I still think they are fucking crazy.

They dropped Scrubs(which was admittedly pretty bad during it's final NBC season) to replace it with Kath and Kim which was positively the most unfunny show I've ever seen on Thursday Night comedy.

Who knows what is replacing Earl, I'm sure it's going to be gawdawful though.

hah heard on Kevin and Bean that the guy that made the show didn't even get a call from NBC to say it was canceled and found out by going online.

The buzz is that Fox may possibly pick it, since their studio produces it and TBS might also be interested since reruns of the show do well on network.

I find it odd that soon the life cycle of a show might be "Go until you're canceled by your original network, then get 2 seasons somewhere else to wrap the show up"

Never watched the show regularly, but every time I came across it I found it pretty funny. I think this is yet another example of the general viewing public in the US being unable to tune in to a comedy show that doesn't have a laugh track letting them know when teh funneh is. See Arrested Development, Better Off Ted, etc etc

I liked the premise of this show and got some good laughs from the first couple of seasons....but they lost me when Earl went to jail and gave up his list or some shit. Thought it just got dumb after that.

Oh, and Jaime Pressly is super hot but didn't care to see her running around pregnant. So that was another contributing factor to me dropping it.

I watched all 4 seasons the past few weeks, for anyone who hasn't seen it I would definitely recommend season 1 & 2, very funny stuff. Season 3 & 4 were pretty meh.

The show is officially cancelled now btw, they couldn't work out a deal with TBS so no mo my name is earl. I just wonder who the daddy is

Season 1 and 2 were really good, then it went really downhill. I loved the first 2 seasons. Few episodes in 3-4 that were pretty good, but over all like yous aid meh.

For me Crab man made that show. lol
