| Who is your ALL TIME favorite TV character? I did a search and I don't think that this has ever been done before. Basically in the history of television, who has been that ONE character on a show that steals every scene and you just can't wait to watch? It doesn't have to be the main character on the show either, usually the minor characters are the ones who everyone loves. So who is your most favorite TV character of all time? For me personally this is such a hard decision to make. Over the Years I have so many favorites. In addition there are a bunch of shows that had a number of characters that I loved and who I thought always stole the show, such as The X-files, The Wire, The Sopranos, and Seinfeld...to name a few. It is strange how most shows do not have really great characters but are very popular shows on TV, while other shows have a long list of amazing characters. Also I think there are not too many memorable female characters in TV. If I had to list my all time favorites they would be: Fox "Spooky" Mulder -The X-files The Cigarette Smoking Man -The X-files The Lone Gunman -The X-files Alien Bounty Hunter -The X-files Alex Krycek -The X-files Newman -Seinfeld Cosmo Kramer -Seinfeld George Costanza -Seinfeld Al Bundy -Married with Children Al Swearengen -Deadwood John Locke -LOST Jack Shepard -LOST Mr Eko -LOST James Ford aka Tom Sawyer -LOST Dr. Heathcliff 'Cliff' Huxtable -The Cosby Show Asst. D.A. Dan Fielding -Night Court Omar Little -The Wire William "Bunk" Moreland -The Wire James "Jimmy" McNulty -The Wire Russell "Stringer" Bell -The Wire Ari Gold -Entourage Johnny "Drama" Chase -Entourage McGuyver -McGuyver Woodie Boyd -Cheers Sam Malone -Cheers Norm Peterson -Cheers Jack Bauer -24 Tony Soprano -The Sopranos Christopher Moltisanti -The Sopranos Paulie 'Walnuts' Gualtieri -The Sopranos Douglas Wambaugh -Picket Fences D.A. John Littleton -Picket Fences Simon Adebisi -OZ Hiro Nakamura -Heroes Detective Vic Mackey -The Shield Mike Donovan -V and V The Final Battle So yea. As you can see over the years I have had many favorite characters but to pick one that is my all time favorite is impossible for me. So I ask you do you have a favorite TV character above any others? If so who is it? Or do you have a long list like myself lol? |

+1 Internets | How the hell could you make a list like this and not put Dr. Perry Cox (Character) ?? Dr. Cox: Oh my God, I care so little, I almost passed out. Bill McNeal (Character) would be up there as well. [Lisa walks by Bill with only a bra on. Bill doesn't react, but Lisa slaps him anyways] Bill: I didn't say anything? Lisa: You were thinking it. Bill: Fair enough. |

+4 Internets | I'm sure most people will have long lists as well, due to the nature of TV shows coming and going. I do have to give a big thumbs up to Wambaugh from Picket Fences, he owned. Just a couple thinking quickly off the top of my head. Most of the cast of Firefly could probably be added. Cartman and Homer Simpson, regardless of how you think of them now, consistently stole the show. Original and Next Generation Star Trek members. Hell, Starbuck and Apollo from the original Battlestar Galactica. The A-Team. Sylar for a recent one. Lynda Carter (Wonder Woman) was pretty decent as far as a woman favorite. Ok, I better stop, I could go on and on forever I guess. Maybe they aren't all my "favorite" but every one of them I think back on and remember enjoying immensely in their particular roles. And because I had to look up her spelling, I'm going to link to this hot pic of Lynda Carter I came across. http://holamun2.com/wp-content/uploa...icity-shot.jpg |

| EQ1 Apologist | G'kar and Londo (Babylon 5) - they're something of a team, so I'll count them as one. Whether it be the comedy of the later seasons or the very conflict between them earlier on, this duo is the perfect set of TV buddies. In a "I want to commit genocide on your entire race" kind of way. Randy Marsh (South Park) - Randy is just fucking awesome, I'm sorry. Cartman (South Park) - Okay, he's a classic. Gaius Baltar (Battlestar Galactica reboot) - Somehow you can't hate him. He's arrogant, brilliant, stupid, and completely dominated by his dick, but you still can't help but understand the guy somehow. Nathan Explosion (Metalocalypse) - ... What? |

| Omar... it's all in tha game. (The Wire) What's not to like? He's a gang banging Robin Hood who takes what he wants from people who are at the top of the Baltimore drug trade. The guy can poker face anyone, you never know which way he's going to roll. Best of all? He's got a code, and leaves the civilians be. He's also gay, which adds another degree of complexity to his character. +11 Internets | Omar Little is pretty difficult to beat. On a different style, I'll try to one up that with the insane performances delivered by the british ambassador in The West Wing, once on screen it becomes his show. If animation counts, Ed from Cowboy Be-bop is pretty much unbeatable. You never know where and how she will enter the screen, where and how she will leave it and what she will do while on it. All the wonders of the animated media packed in one character!

+20 Internets | lol I like how the thread asks for a character then you list 25 of them. If I had to choose one it'd probably be Homer Simpson. Christopher was my favorite Soprano character until the last season, where they seemed to have no idea what they were going to do with him and basically wrote him out of the show even before he was 'actually written out of the show'. House and Ari Gold are just 100% totally badass characters for sure. I think characters from shows like Friends, Seinfeld etc work better as an ensemble. Well mainly Seinfeld, that cast just went together so perfectly, George probably my favorite though. Joey being my favorite friend in the later episodes, along with Chandler, pretty much despised all the women on that show. I love Dr. Cox, but his character can be tiring sometimes. Omar from the wire is a great pick. Also Vick Mackey (remember kids, WWV(ick)M(ackey)D has always been a favorite, manboobs and all. Anime characters: Spike / Vincent - bebop Gutts - Berserk (mainly for pure 'he's a badass' factor) Kamina Ayato - Just a great character that I felt was done really well and realistically despite chaos and sci fi fantasy going on. Alucard and Alexander - Hellsing Brandon Heat - Gungrave Also there was some guy who was awesome in Scrapped Princess, wasn't around long though. Think his name was Fulle? Loved that dude Is this an anime? Is it good? |

+17 Internets | It's an anime and it's good. You may not like it. It's high fantasy magic with comedy set in an alternate reality Europe. Louise is, without question, my favorite character ever written. |
