I hope they don't blow 75% of their CG budget on 1 episode like last season (even though it was aweomse).

Is it a full 20 episodes?

WTB Farscape miniseries/movie. Peacekeeper Wars was the fucking own, need more!

i wish some other network that cares about sci-fi would step up and put out some good stuff to watch. i fucking hate sci-fi channel.

Just to keep this thread updated, the producers stated that Olmos jumped the gun and it's not definitely the last season.

Well, there is a huge amount of spin-off material. I did read somewhere they were planning a mini-series detailing either the events on Caprica or the Pegasus before they hooked up with Galactica.

In summary (this is old news, but people around here don't seem to be aware of this) :

- Near the end of the season 3, Sci-Fi announced that they agreed to buy 22 more episodes.
- Producers of the show decided to make a regular 20 episode long 4th season, probably the last one ; and a two-hours long-direct-to TV movie that will focus on the Pegasus. Season 4 will begin in early 2008, the movie in Q4 of 2007.
- Another show is planned, Caprica, but it'll be set before BSG.

For the record, although I'm totally in love with BSG (for me it's the best sci-fi show ever made), I think it's a good thing to end it after the 4th season. I'd rather have an awesome last season finishing the story-arcs than 4 more seasons or spin-offs or whatever which suck - much like Star Trek is doing, and I'm a Star Trek fan.

Yeah that article on slashdot has a followup from Eick stating that there was nothing in stone about season four being the end yet.

Though my guess is EJO probably was right anyways, it just hasn't been formally announced.

Yeah, but killing off D'Argo was lame.

I'd actually like to see a season or two of the Unrealized Reality where John is a Peacekeeper Captain
