+7 Internets | HBO's Rome I didn't know where to put this, since it's not really a regular show, but not a movie. I hope it can be appropriate in this forum. Has anyone else watched the first 2 eps? I have really liked it, Titus (the legionnaire with the shaven head) is one bad mother fucker. Killing the guy in the tavern, then the guy in the street, both times he had just instant precision and accuracy, right to the neck! I am not sure how I feel about Caesar yet, I picture someone a little more bad ass, but I am sure he'll grow on me. All in all, I am pretty excited about the series. Anyone else planning on following it? |

+6 Internets | I saw most of what I think was the first episode and enjoyed it. I have it on-demand so that will make it much easier for me to follow. |

| On demand is the shit. Anyways, so far Rome is pretty good. Violence + Nudity + Sex - Commercials = Solid Entertainment. But I suppose that is the formula for almost all HBO series productions. |

+19 Internets | Glad to hear it's good, I'm a HBO fanboy for sure I can't wait to watch the Entourage finale tonight (I love that show and pretty much every other HBO show outside of the comeback).

The Six Feet Under series finale was one of the most powerful and emotional things I've ever seen on TV or in film. I swear to god it depressed me for days. | |

+7 Internets | I've got DishTV with the DVR box, which I guess is just like a TiVo or whatever. It's the only way I can catch stuff. Between Rome and Deadwood, HBO is worth the money. Dead Like Me was my other "pay channel" show, but it got cancelled so they had more time for "fat actress" *******SPOILER********* . . . . . . . I hear julius caesar dies in one episode!! |

| yeah gotta say HBO is has some great shows. Entourage, Carnivale, Six Feet Under, all quality shit. Haven't seen Rome, been on vacation with the family, but have on-demand back home, been hearing good things. Oh and btw does anyone know when the season premiere of Carnivlae is?

| I actually found myself enjoying "The Comeback" at least towards the end. I took it as a drama and really got into the quirks of every character. Pauly G needs to die though. |

| I watched Rome Ep.#1 (not sure if that's what OP meant as ep # 1 and 2, since the first is a double lenght episode but just one episode really), and I think it's great. I like the maturity, the realism and the dialogues. And if you ask me, Rome looks better than in Gladiator.

| Just saw it tonight, not sure if it was ep 1 or 2. The one where the big dude with a shaved hair gets head surgeroy. Either way I enjoyed it. I'm just waiting for the guy to slap his wife in line roman style

| Rome is so fucking own. It's a nice successor to Six Feet Under no doubt. Anyways, HBO always has the quality shit. Entourage is fucking hilarious and Deadwood is subperb with all the vulgarity they throw in there and still have a plot, fucking fantastic. Can't wait for the next season of Sopraonos, and for that matter, my favorite series, Carnivale. In closing, kill The Comeback, and then Lisa Kudrow. She has no "Friends" therefore she needs to die in a house fire. |
