Outside of Empornium (and the occassionally linked torrents here) I have no idea where to find torrents for stuff like episodes for Rome and DS2 and whatnot. Is there a favorite/preferred site out there?

Rome is wow....unlike anything on TV at the moment. This weekend when they showed that operation and how back then people had surgery performed, I could barely hold down my dinner.

I am absolutely pissed to pieces they cancelled Dead Like Me, but as far as Showtime series, watch Huff. Oliver Platt is fucking awesome in that show.

I've watched the first season of Dead Like Me and the first two episodes of season 2. While I think it's a good show (and better than 90% of shit on normal tv or even showtime) I don't see what all the fuss is about.

Belive it or not we have HBO in here. But i don't think it is the same HBO as in US. , i am actually pretty sure it is not . Carnivale Season 2 just finished and today Deadwood started. Of course we dont have tivo or On Demand or any other fancy shancy things in here so it's only good old television : you missed the show.. thats it .. good luck on the rerun.

Anyway i freaking hate you for getting the good shit first and i hate you for having comedy central too.

The big fuss is that a quality show got axed so some fat bitch with C-list celebrity star power could could back into the spotlight when no one wants her too. Anyone involved with Fat Actress needs to be eaten by Kirsty Alley and then shot out of a cannon into the sun.

i've watched the first 3 episodes with one of my roomates and we are both already hooked on this show. I don't actually have HBO so never seen curb your enth... but always wanted too...now after this thread will have to use that blockbuster rentals to check it out

It was one of the gold shipments Pompey was trying to transport out of Rome to his encampment. It was hijacked by thieves on its way out of the city, and then Titus Pullo killed the hijackers and took it for himself. But if memory serves, one of the original Pompey soldiers is still hiding in the back of the wagon. Or so it seemed.

By the way, I freaking love this series so far.

Rome has been greenlighted for a 2nd season, so...

Caesar ruled Rome for about 7 years or so, if I'm not mistaken. If they plan on just focusing on him, they have plenty of story material. Plus post Caesar, you have Mark Anthony/Cleopatra if you wanted to go there.

I wanna see the crazy sadistic fuckers like Nero or Caligula, though ;p

Watch "I, Claudius", old BBC miniseries, very good. Goes from later Augustus to Claudius' death. Livia is bad ass in it and ends up offing like half the cast by herself.
